My wedding is coming up quick and I was wondering how much I should tip?

The reception hall is non for profit so all pretty much everyone is volunterring. My dinner is also a buffet. Should I tip or maybe make a donation?

Don't tip, you're already paying enough for their services!

generally, a nice personal tip for all who help you with your wedding would be fine. The amount is up to you but it is customary to give most of your vendors a little something extra, whatever is in your budget.

I am getting married in a similar situation and plan to give the waiters $15-20 each, and the photographer/DJ $40.00. The officiant (person who is performing the ceremony) will get a gift certificate for dinner for 2 and the person who works for the hall and helped organize everything will be getting a bouquet of flowers. I hope this helps.

Though the DJs and photographers are professionals, the staff may not be paid handsomely. So, a tip will always better. You tip the biggest currency of your country, since that will be the biggest tip they can imagine. Nothing more and nothing less. Good luck.

DJs and photographers are professionals. You don't tip them. But if the reception is in a hotel, you might want to throw in something for the staff.

I didn't tip. They are independent and not working for a company, means they money you pay come straight to their pockets. Tip only the servers for the reception, like $10 each.

you don't tip them you can feed them while they are at the wedding but they are already getting paid to be there so no tip is necessary
