My neighbor's kids play in my front yard all the time. I'm tired of it because they don't ask my stepson to come out and play. Every time I catch them I tell them to leave. Now my wife is involved and she talked to the neighbor mom about it, and she called my wife a bi**h and that her kids can play wherever they so choose. The way I look at it, if one of them gets hurt in my yard, they could sue me, so I should have a say if they can play in my yard. Should I call the cops the next time they're in my yard or just take out a 7 iron and aim?

When you're criticized, is your reaction "Boo hoo" or "S-c-r-e-w you"?
What would you do?

I have new neighbors upstairs in an apartment....the lease says no loud noise after 10pm. They are constantly noisy...music, loud sex, etc. It keeps my 10 year old son and myselfn up most of the night. My landlord has sent them notices...they dont seem to care and I have already talked with them in person. What is my next step so I can get some shut eye?

What did you do? Did you tell them or leave it for others to find? Ever had the toilet overflow at someone's house?

So tomorrow I'm checking out and gonna leave my bags there for the day; a bellman will just give me a ticket for it, not actually help to carry them or anything. Should I tip him and how much? I don't have much experience with tipping...

I've had this very annoying incident happen the other day. This female was staring at me then she popped a piece of gum into her mouth and started snapping her gum, loudly. I looked right back at her (yes, a strange stare down) but she eventually looked away. What ails people like this? Is it just me or was she trying to get something started--perhaps an altercation? Weird. BTW, we don't even know each other.

I'll give you a hint. It's accomplished in just three steps.
1. Cut a hole in the box.
2. Put your junk in that box.
3. Make her open the box.
And that's the way you do it!

I'm interning part-time in an office. One of the employees is leaving soon. No one on the staff has said anything about it, although I gather it has been known for a while.

I don't know him too well even though it's a small office and have only been there for a month and a half. Is there a certain protocol for saying farewell or just let it be?

I work in a sign shop where I am a designer along with another person. I don't smoke, a total of three people smoke, one smokes outside and respects that I and many customers are nonsmokers. The second smokes but leaves the door open while smoking in the doorway. The third owns the shop, has boxes of cigarettes in the fridge and resently bought a giant cigar humidafier for his stupid brand new boxes of cigars.

confrontational with you because she accused you of staring at her and her brat as they made some kind loud, prolonged, tantrum scene right in front of the cash register. I mean, how could you possible not look with all the screaming right there in front of you while waiting in line to pay for your gasoline. What is the proper response???
