I am having a very small wedding (10-20 people) in Colorado in a few months. My family lives in Washinton state, his family lives in Illinois. This means a lot of friends and family can not attend especially under such short notice. We would like to let every know that we are getting married under no obligation to attend.

He says: Send invitations to everyone even if we know they can not come.
I say: Send invites to only the people we know can attend, and then send wedding announcements after the ceremony.

Is there a proper way to do this?

I am sure everyone has the ability to do good things - what is the nicest/kindest thing you have done for someone other than yourself?

My girlfriend has never really had a boyfriend before me. In her last year of college, she was obsessed with a guy named Frank. Frank led her on and then turned her down on the last day of school. This guy is always on her mind as a mental obsession. All of her friends were in on trying to hook the two people up, but it still failed.

Today, I messaged the guy on instant messenger. I pretended I was a SPAM bot and apparently he thought I was someone else. He then messaged me from a different screen name and we talked (with me, not knowing who he thinks I am, guessing wildly at what the other guy thinks I would be answering). Long story short, it turns out that her obsession is a homosexual. He is really nerdy and has been "being mean" to girls as a sort of revenge of the nerds in person.

Question is, should I tell her all of this?

Among the youth I have noticed a large percent using cell phone text abbreviations such as "u" "2" and "kno" etc. I am the only one that gets pissed off when they use this online with a keyboard? Seriously it has got to stop its just really annoying to me, or my I physco?

raise out of your comfort zone and consider the fact that when two people interact on a purely socialist level there would be no conclusive evidence as to what time, or where, the questions asked were in fact answered, thus causing everyone to be late for dinner and spoiling the fish course.

has changed, and give them the number to a local PEST CONTROL service ... think they will get the hint?

I'm talking excessive calling over nothing important. In dire emergency, they can call me cell.. but no, they keep calling me at work.

IT IS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR TO SAY THE LEAST. WHEN A WOMAN SO AS TO ONLY ARRANGE HER DUPATTA PROPERLY REMOVES IT FROM HER EMBRACE, SHE IS LABBELLED AS INDECENT AND INVITING. AND WOT DO THESE MEN DO WHEN THEY LITERALLY SCRATCH AND SOMETIMES ALSO TAKE PLEASURE WHILE DOING SO LABELLED AS? NOTHING. WHY? IT IS SO UNPLEASANT TO SEE SUCH BEHAVIOUR WHILE WALKING DOWN THE ROAD, WAITING FOR THE BUS, AND ALMOST EVERYWHERE. I HAVE EVEN SEEN SOME WHO DO IT DELIBERATELY AFTER LOOKING AT A GIRL PASS BY. EVEN NOW AS I ASK THIS SOME MEN MIGHT SAY " HOW DO YOU KNOW UNLESS YOU LOOK AT THEM TOO?' COME ON, YOU DO NOT EXPECT SUMBODY TO STAND IN A FIXED POSTURE WITHOUT EVEN GLANCING AROUND? DO YOU? PLEASE ANSWER WHY? I FEEL LIKE SHOOTING THEM. BUT I CANT. GIVE A LOGICAL ANSWER AND NOT ONE OF SOME MORE DISGUST.

I've always thought candles on the dinner table were a throwback to pre-electricity days, adding a charming flicker of light to the evening's festivities. Aren't they considered pretentious at luncheons?

It's quite sad actually that it's still up....I keep telling myself I am gonna take it down, but it just doesn't happen. The lights are still up outside, those aren't coming down.

So, should I take it down tomorrow? or should I just change the decorations to match the upcoming holidays? Easter bunnies on a Christmas tree? It could work...either way, it's just getting more sad, lol.

I have a professional position which requires me to be well cleaned and tidy. I was just wondering if getting my ear pierced a bad idea? Would it be worse if I pierced both ears instead of just one?

I don't know this guy. I called him wanting to interview him. I've suggested several times that we meet for lunch, but he insists that we meet at his home. Is it weird to be afraid and unwilling to meet him in his home? Is there any polite way to let him know I won't meet him at his home? I don't work for a company.

I'm going to tour a college campus and I have no clue what would be appropriate. It's a Christian college, but I don't think they're totally puritanical. You know, wearing skirts that are down to their ankles and shirts that are completely buttoned. I just need ideas of something classy and sophisticated. Any ideas of where I should start?

Why do some people believe a person is naive if they don't drink?
If I decided to stop eating desserts you would encourage me, If I decided to quite smoking you'd encourage me, so why is a person belittled for choosing not to drink anymore?

for our anniversary dinner party. She says they are special and should not be used in polite company but I say that all my mates will need somewhere to put their sauce and hot fish yoghurt.
I've always enjoyed showing off her wares and she has been up for it a bit in the past. Once she wore a waitress uniform and showed off her pie I let 2 of my mates use their custard to decorate it before giving it a stir myself and eating it all up.
