White roses have several meanings: “You’re heavenly,” reverence and humility, innocence and purity, “I’m worthy of you,” and secrecy and silence. White roses are also a sign of true love and are also a traditional flower for weddings, signifying unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new bond of love.
How did you and your ex part? Was it because of an indiscretion on his part? He may be trying to tell you he's ready to be honest about your relationship and want to get back with you. If you feel the same, you may want to open that door to him.
If you're with someone else, I would feel any gift of flowers would be an attempt to draw you away, regardless of the color or the flower.
You just have to figure out if you want to get back with him and take it from there. One thing's for certain: if he didn't want to re-open a possible relationship, he wouldn't be giving you any flowers at all!

well i'm married,, so that probably wouldnt go over so well with the husband. but if i was single getting flowers from an ex.. i would probably be ear to ear with smiles =)... i would start analyzing it,, does he still like me, or is he just being nice, wants to start over, be friends.. i would have to call him and thank him, and then go out to dinner or something,, that would be my first reaction... second reaction i would think how did our relationship end, are we still talking lol?? who dumped who and how many scars? i would be still flattered i love receiving flowers , and i would feel like a princess for the rest of the day. hope you had a great bday!

I'm always flattered to get gifts especially flowers. It shows that the person thought enough of you to get you something. Be thankful.
