I'm going to tour a college campus and I have no clue what would be appropriate. It's a Christian college, but I don't think they're totally puritanical. You know, wearing skirts that are down to their ankles and shirts that are completely buttoned. I just need ideas of something classy and sophisticated. Any ideas of where I should start?

If you're just going on a guided tour with a large group of other potential students, dress comfortably. Wear good shoes and the right kind of overcoat for the weather. You won't need to dress up much - comfortable slacks and a comfortable top should be fine. You could even get away with jeans, I'd think. Think business casual.

If you'll have an interview with a faculty member or admissions officer, dress up some more. A skirt or dress or a nice dressy suit would be very good.

Don't worry too much about how the religious affiliation affects the modesty code. Just think - would I wear this to a professional job? If you dress like that, you shouldn't have any problems staying within Christian modesty standards, plus you will look professional which is good from the college's viewpoint. Avoid short skirts, low slung pants, and absolutely NO cleavage. Don't wear excessively tight clothes (they won't be comfortable for walking around in anyway) but you don't have to wear a sack either. Your clothes should be tight enough to show that you're a woman but loose enough to show that you're a lady! And don't do anything extreme with make-up, hair, or jewelry - it can be really distracting.

I have never been to a christain college campus or anything. I go to a public university. But when I was in high school touring a bunch of college campuses. I made sure I brought some comfortable shoes. So try to find some dressy shoes that are comfortable since you will be walking quite a bit. Also, bring an umbrella in case it rains. If you don't you will probably end up buying one on the campus. They are like $6 when you can get one at Target for like $1.

I would ware nice slacks and a buttoned collar shirt with some comfortable shoes. To look classy add a jacket.

I would wear dress pants and a dress shirt. Since it is a Christian institution, I would try to be a little more modest than one might think, just to be safe. Good luck! :-)

If you are female, wear the sluttiest outfit possible that shows off the most skin. christian college or not, guys are still guys and wearing something slutty will for sure get you laid faster. If you are a guy wear whatever becuase you will probably have to get the christian girls drunk before you can get them into bed anyway.
