When I moved to a new school, it was really hard too. I understand how it is with the other kids and not knowing people.

Treat the teachers with respect and honesty.

Treat the students the same. You will eventually befriend someone who is like you. Lunchtime is the hardest, but don't be afraid to walk up to a table and sit down there. Be bold! It is so hard to do, I know, but you have to be outgoing if you are going to make yourself happy at school.

In a couple of weeks it will get easier, then you can settle down with a group of kids that you feel comfortable with ... or not.

I tended to float from one group to another, never really putting down deep roots in any one social group, but rather having a few friends in each group. It wasn't by choice, it just kind of happened that way.

This too shall pass, and soon enough you will be out of school. College - if you choose to go - is so much easier to make friends because everyone there is new.

Good luck.

This could be hard. You should be able to know the trend which is going on and you should be able share some of their intersts like talk about guys or talk about the latest cosmetics you use etc. Don't talk a lot of showoff. Showing off sometimes get you friends. Be Patient. mail me and give more details.

Going to a new school is always hard but the easy thing to do is be yourself. Having alot of friends of different kinds is good. Most people tend to stay with only their "kind" Such as preps stay with preps, goths with goths. It is okay to be friends with all them.

I am a goth myself and have prep friends, stoner,...etc

Try to mix in with some groups and see who you feel best around. Ex. if your mexi, be in the mexi pac! And as for etiquette, just be polite to adults and be normal around your homies. Keep it real niggg.
