you need to ask yourself why do you love her so much...
1) are you too lonley/absorbed/shy?
2) are you lusty, after her body/her smile/her smarts?
3) is she out of your league - i mean, common --- are you a hot boy and she's a hot girl? or are you an average or ugly guy compared to the rest (look around)?

You were far too good for her and whilst you might have loved her dearly she will,in time,be an ugly old crow when compared to the next love which will be the real love of your life.
This,last one,consider as a 'dummy run' a practice for the REAL thing who is just around the corner.
Spend the next ten minutes listing all the last one's faults.
If she had no faults then make them up as you go along.
When you get to the bottom of the page write in block capitals the following
"I am well rid".and pour yourself a large drink and laugh

Don't console yourself, get over her.
Take a pen and paper. Write down the things/incidents/her habits/moments related to her which you did not like. Keep reading it periodically- it might work for you. Basically, you have to hate her to get over her easily. It is kind of a selfish way but it works.
If your conscience does not allow this, talk to her clearly about how you feel
