Depends on the type of school you aim to get into. Yes, it is too late to get into elite schools for Fall 2007. It is not too late to get into community colleges and state universities (and some private universities for that matter). Most colleges and universities have great web-sites that list all of their application and other deadlines. Choose five institutions, check their web-sites and get at it. By the way, if you have not taken the ACT or SAT (depending on what tests are required by the school of your choice), you ought to do that as soon as you are able. This will greatly expedite your acceptance.

By the way, I am a college administrator so I know what I am talking about.

Finally, I hope you use better spelling and grammar on your entrance essay. Applied is spelled this way.

How late is too late? Are you supposed to be going this year or what? You could always take a gap year and you can apply now or over the summer. Even apply in the fall (up until November 1).

Its never too late, but it is more than likely too late to apply for fall. (But you never know so go see your counselor) You can register for community college before any semester, but for a four year university, you need to apply around November. Check in with your school counselor and see what they have to say. The counselor is a great resource, use it!

You can't even spell "applied." They'll let anybody into college these days, though.
