Whenever I go in public people always stare at me. I've tried wearing a hood and hiding my face but it always happens. What else can I do?

I have a cleaning lady in my crib right now, cleaning her *** off. She's doing a fab job, she is polite and has a sweet personality. She came from an agency but I'm hoping to hire her "off the books" in future. The overall cleaning is costing $90. My crib is a bad mess so she really has to put in work. How much should I tip her?

I see in categories where people talk trash before hand(in sports, politics ect.), some more than others, and afterwards, it goes on forever.

Yes its fine to say things, but why provoke everyone? Do they just want to see how mad they can make someone else?

I find that when I tell complete strangers excuse me they give me a bad look. What's wrong with people? Even now I hear the words excuse me pronounced as "cuze me". Are manners changing or have some forgotten them?

There has been many fanfiction across the net about real life celebrities and fictitious characters.

So is it wrong for someone to write fanfiction about a real celebrity, or a fictitious character known in a book or tv or movie, or both?

I got an email from someone on Yahoo, just to trash me and my choices... a complete stranger. It was very mean. I realize that I am obviously happier then this person, and apparently alot nicer too.. and he was just cristisizing, so I don't beleive what he said as 'true'.... but why are some people so mean?

I don't see what the big deal is. Whether they're talking into their phone or talking to someone at their table it's almost the same. I can understand why people would get angry if they're at the movies. People shouldn't be talking at all in the movie theatre, but what's the big deal when you're at a restaurant?

Do you think it's rude for people to stand and ask you 20 questions about what you're eating for lunch? Like where did you get that sandwich, does it have mayo, and on and on with the questions while kind of leaning in sniffing. What do you do about it?

My neighbor is the only guy I know who can party with a jellyfish to loud blaring techno music...for 18 hours! The noise is so strong that my house is crumbling from it, and when I kindly ask them to shut up the jellyfish just stings me.

Hello. When I was younger (around12-14), I had a bad habit of putting stuff down girls back, giving them small wedgies and poking their butts. However, when I had to do a project on politeness, I realised that I know better, and my parents have taught me to be polite and not be an animal. So I vowed to stop and it has been almost 3-4 years and I have cleaned up my act (in fact, some women think I'm a true gentlemen, and thus have some female friends who trust me, and I do not let them down).

However, I was researching molestation after hearing many cases about it, I was horrified what consitutes as molestation, and now I am worried that what I did could be seen as molestation.

I never harassed/did anything sexual to 5-6 year olds. In fact, I never made young girls perform or act out sexual acts for me. I never stripped them, nor did I strip in front of them. But people tell me that today in America, it has gone to an extreme of accusations.

So should I be preparing to head to jail?

Their coffee isn't that good and it's overpriced. As far as I'm concerned, it really takes some nerve to stick a tips jar on the counter after all that.

I'm not American nor Brazilian but I have experienced both cultures after having lived in both the US and Brazil. I find Americans don't have good interpersonal skills when compared to Brazilians. In other words, when faced with the same situation/problem, Brazilians tend to be more polite, patient, tolerant, understanding and usually remain calm at all times. Customer service people such as clerks, cashiers, employees, waiters, etc. usually provide you with high-quality service in Brazil while in the US, these same customer service people are usually rude and provide a mediocre service. The same goes for health care providers. Health care in Brasil is of much higher quality than that of the United States and at a much lower cost. Doctors tend to be very patient, caring and stick to a high ethics standard in Brazil (and the rest of Latin America).

I have a situation at work wherein one of my coworkers routinely does not complete duties, will leave the washroom facility disgusting, and has a tendancy to blame all of his errors or problems in the store on me. He will call me an email me constantly to complain about his duties or my work.

I work for a retail chain with several stores and rarely work at the location where he does. However on the odd chance that I am,everything is a mess. If there is the slightest problem within the next week following my shift he will report it to the owner as my fault.

I am not getting in any sort of trouble rather the owner sees his behaviour as it is. I have regularily recieved promotions within the company and have not been effected in that regard by this behavior. Personally however it is a huge annoyance.

How do I deal with this?

I love the way a saree looks and I understand that if I did, I would need someone who knows how to wrap one in my wedding party. But before I even consider it, I wanted to know if other people would think it offensive. Neither myself nor my fiance are of Indian descent.
