Whenever I go in public people always stare at me. I've tried wearing a hood and hiding my face but it always happens. What else can I do?

That's like asking: how you can get a skunk to stop smelling? The answer is to plug the skunk's nose. There's always pointing in the opposite direction (which may prove only monkey's stare at you and that you're a gorilla- you know that childish taunt right?) or shock! Smile at the people who stare at you. They'll feel embarassed and look away. If they don't, you could always talk to them and say, "Do I know you?" That could do the trick. Be nice. People are always staring at the television so behaving normally may be difficult for those who don't get out much. ;)

Why complain, smile, blow kisses and revel in the attention - its what i'd do.
alternately, you could just not go out in public, or find yourself a group of outragesly dressed friends (Punks or new ravers) and you can all be stared at together and live happily ever aftr :-)

Try not to draw attention to yourself. If you try to hide your face, etc., you will have people staring at you. You could try not to look at anyone else, then you just wouldn't notice.

Your just analyzing too much. People look at each other when they walk around, it's no big deal, they're not judging you and even if they are, who cares? Do you know them? Will they remember you a few minutes later? No. So don't worry about it.

Wear scary-looking colored contact lenses, like the ones that Marilyn Manson wears.......and then stare back!

Is there something about your appearance or demeanor that draws their attention? The hood would do this, for example.

It is imperative to cover your body properly,cover you head & it is better to even hide your face,Do not make up when ever you go out, do not use perfumes,Do not talk to strangers when it is not needed & it is better to get married because when you carry kids,staring will automatically come down.
