Now as a meat eater if I know a Vegie person is coming over I try to accomodate them and have some vegi dishes for them to enjoy.

I think I should get my house warming gift back.

Every once in a while I will get an erection at the most inopportune time! (ie. public event, church, the gym, at the animal shelter, grocery shopping in pjs) Before you start with the lame a$$ questions...no I'm not gay, nor into animals, and I am not talking about sexual erections, just those ones that are involuntary. You mature dudes know what I'm talking about. My question is does this happen to you? What do you do about it?

I can only afford about $25.00 per person. I was thinking flowers, but to get something really nice I'd have to spend a lot more than that. Any other suggestions?

We have invited 8 kids for my 5 yr old's b'day party in our 2 bdr apt. 4 of them live far and are sibling pairs. We are close friends with their parents and they will stay overnight with us.The remaining 4 kids live nearby and are classmates of my child. I am unfamiliar with the parents of 2 of these kids. The ones I am familiar with know I have space constraints and have agreed to drop-off/pick-up their kids for the party. 2 of the remaining parents are hesitant to drop-off their kids because they have never been to our house and neither do they know us well. I was told this by my child's class teacher. She also said that one of the parents was planning to ask me if it was ok for her to stay over at the party. I understand the parent's concern and desire to stay over but still feel she should opt not to send her kid to the party rather than ask if she can come over. I had specified that it was drop-off/pick-up. I want to avoid overcrowding. What should I say when she calls?

i often get drawn into a confrontation or have to avoid the situation depending on the circumstances. This has been a pattern I have found for years. I dont have any clever glib answers and would sooner just ripp them apart which I have done. I know this come into the area of assertiveness and I am probably a passive aggressive type. There must be alot of information on this subject and places to go for help. I am sick of being victimized by bullies and set up to either avoid or fight.

Ok, so today is my birthday, and I didn't breathe a word of this special day to anyone. I know people who go around and tell every teacher and student that that day is their birthday at least 5 times a person. Since I'm a rather humble person, I told nobody, and I was just wondering, is it rude to not tell anyone OR tell everyone? If that makes any sense, please answer. Nothing rude either.

PS. I had TWO people, whom I NEVER see wish me a happy birthday. So much for friends, eh?

Like, people will leave half drunk bottles of pop on a table in the cafeteria, or I'll find a sandwich on the ground, all wrapped up and stuff. I think the food Gods are blessing me.

When I say I like to be nude, I mean at all times. I don't wear clothes in my house regardless of who is there, (I do cover up if there are under 18s around) I've gone to halloween parties as Lady Godiva and Eve. When I do have to wear clothes (at work or required by law) I wear as little as possible. I have stripped down at work when working late. I have also pushed the limits on public nudity. I usually only get a warning from a policeman, then I put something on.

The obvious answer is nothing, but that's not an option.

I have to write a letter to the donor in charge of my scholarship thanking him and updating him on what's going on with me at this stupid school. If I don't do it, they will take my scholarship away.

It would be a simple task if I had anything good to say, but I don't. What should I do?

As a female, when I am introduced to someone, am I suppose to reach out and shake their hand? Does it matter if it's a man or a woman? I definately won't do this if I'm eating and I've never initiated a hand shake. Just curious to know the proper etiquette. It always seemed like a man thing. Thanks!!!

I really don't like my laugh. It is very loud and I normally do not talk loud so I don't understand why I laugh so loud.

I noticed a lot of people get their spelling criticised on answers, and are told to use spell check. However, unless you have some idea how the word is spelt, the checker won't pick it up and correct you.
I would much rather someone go ahead and ask the question, with spelling mistakes, than make them feel intimidated by the remarks and stay away.
The more they ask questions the better their spelling will get.

What's more, I'm not being a patronising c*w!

QUESTION, should we point out spelling mistakes?
