If I give a gift, I give a proper gift. If I were concerned about covering my A**, I wouldn't bother with a gift in the first place.

I'd truly love to be a generous gift giver, and I try to be whenever possible. However, finances find me just barely scraping by in covering myself most of the time. Alas.

Well I can say that I ma generous to all those I love but certain people get special attention which means very generous gifts, like my mother, boyfriend and niece....

I put a tremendous effort into gift giving.I want to make sure that whoever the recipient is is going to love it above all their other gifts.

It depends on the recipient, the occasion, and my personal budget at the time. I personally tend to think heartfelt gifts are generous no matter how much they cost.
