My, who was raised as a nudist, roommate turned me into a nudist my freshman year of college when we started living together in the dorms. First she started sleeping nude (after getting my OK), then I decided to try it. The she started letting being naked around me more often--for instace, she'd take her towel off when she came back from the shower and do her hair and makup before getting dressed. As time went on, and I started to follow her lead. Eventually she invited me to go with her on a weekend trip to a nude beach and there has been no turning back since then. We now share an apartment and both of us are usually in the nude whenever we are home. We also do frequent weekend trips to the nude beach or a nudist camp nearby.
Beyond that I don't really get naked very often. Sometimes I dress minimally (for example, its not uncommon for me to wear nothing but volleyball shorts and a tank top during the summer [no underwear]), but its just not socially acceptable to be fully nude too many other places. Even if I was working late, I'd be worried that someone else would walk in for example. I wouldn't be offended, but they might be and I wouldn't want that.

many people are more comfortable in the nude. That was the whole concept in starting the nudist movement: the "naturality" of it.
It is always important to remember that freedom is only as big as the freedom you leave to others: in some of the cases you mention in your message you are imposing your nudity on others.
Don't care that much on those under 18: those are the least likely to be shocked! a child does not particularly mind nudity, and often is very happy to strip as well in all innocence. On the other hand, exposing yourself in public to the point of warranting a warning from a policeman is at the very least inpolite and unsensitive of other people.
but, but... I have a little feeling that you just might be writing this hoping to provoke reactions... :D

You have an issue that could land you in jail. You don't seem to have an understanding of appropriateness or boundaries. There is nothing at all wrong with being nude at home, but what makes you think you have the right to strip down at work? Perhaps being fired or arrested will teach you that there is a time and a place for everything.

Hi Jane
I also luv being nude or at least topless. I am only 16 and live with my family. They have now got used to me being nude a lot. I sleep nude and normally go to the bathroom and back in the morning without getting dressed. I also have a pool at home. If anyone else is home I swim topless (bc Mum goes nuts if I go nude) but if I am home alone i go nude. All my friends, male and female, have been swimming with me and therefore see me topless. Once my friend and I went to a party dressed only in panties and body paint. That was fun.

If you want to walk around at home nude, as long as you are home alone , then do it, its your house. However, I would not like it if I were a roomate or family member and I had to sit on the same couch that you had your naked butt on. As far as going nude in public, you are an exhibitionist, and should seek counseling. If you really must, then I suggest a nude beach or join a nudist colony.

Am nude a LOT, almost always at home and around the property, walks in the woods out back or at the nude river beach near here. We have a hot tub, so ther's that too. Love to hang casual with friends, and my whole family is like that now. first they got used to seeing me doing it, then I guess figured "why not?" So it's normal at my home, not a big deal at all - heck, it's only human bodies the way God made them!

You're not alone. Heaps of people prefer being nude, myself included. I love the fact that you're not too concerned about where you go naked or who is around you, however acting in an illegal manner like being nude in public doesn't help the nudist movement from gaining public acceptance. But apart from that, keep going if you're comfortable with it.

I bet you get a lot of company. I can only imagine when you order pizza!
I actually just read last week in Forbes of all places that the national nudist association is looking to fill their dwendeling lists. You may check them out and find some like minded people.

Dress how ever you want in the privacy of your home. Their are laws against you being nude in public and it is in your own best interest to follow them. I suggest joining nudist clubs.

I like to be naked at home, when I don't have company. The first thing I do when I get home is take my pants off. But I don't do it in front of other people. I am not saying that you are wrong. But I just wouldn't want to make other people nervous.
