When you use a public toilet, & decide not to sit but to hover, do you put the seat up or hover over the seat & pee on it? Some of the girls here are fed up of getting to a public toilet & finding it wet. If you must hover, please put the seat up. Why do you not lift the seat before hovering or sit down & keep the seat clean?

My simple explanation is as under: For Wicked (who are often destructive or Negative in character) "Knowledge is for needless arguments, wealth is for arrogance and their bodily strength is for Hurting others". For Wisest (who are often constructive or Positive in character) " Knowledge is for Enlightenment, Wealth for doing Charity and Strength for protecting Others". Maybe it's just in the movies or those little fairy tales you read as a kid, but what ever happened to those small towns where everyone sticks together and stands up for each other. Instead they all sit around waiting to be the first one to have the new gossip and to be the first to tell everyone about your faults. What happened to that small town where everyone works together? Does one even exist?
A wise man once said..... "Why look at the speck in your brothers eye when you miss the plank in your own?"

The shower is a curtain, you know the person, and there doesn't have to be conversation.

Okay, so this is my dilemna. In December, my uncle asked my boyfriend and I if we would want to go to a play with him. He told us about the play and asked when we might be available. We said most likely on Sundays because my boyfriend goes to school on Saturdays and during the week is way too busy for both of us. So about 2 weeks ago, he called and left a message on my voicemail saying that he had bought tickets to the play and it is on January 21st. He did not consult with us to make sure that we were even available this day, and it turns out that we are not. We have plans to watch the playoffs(Bears!!) So, our question is, what do we do? Do we tell him that we are unable to go because we had previous plans and wish that he would have asked us if we were available before buying the tickets? Or do we just suck it up and go with him (and cry the whole time because we are missing the game of the year?) What do you all think?

Building I live in is old & has 3 floors with 18 apartments. I live in 2rd floor. Recently, a new tenant of the building moved into 3rd floor. Their room is exactly upstair of mine. The problem is they walk around a lot in their apartment with shoes on. Since the building is old & floors are squeaky, the shoes-on footstep noises are extremely disturbing. The previous tenants never bothered me with that kind of noises. They also frequently drop the hard stuffs on the floor accidentally or intentionally (which I don't know). Last night was the worst. They walked and dragged the stuffs along the floor from 8 PM last night until 3 AM this morning. Then again, from 6 AM this morning, walking and dragging things constantly kept going on until I left the home by 1 PM today. Righ this time while I'm posting this question, they're already starting all the noises.I do need to talk to them. But I don't wana create any problem between us. How should I talk to them without creating further problem?

I know this sounds rude but ok. My friend said she had a christmas present for me but she didnt have it with her when i saw her. We have gone back and forth the last few years sometimes getting each other gifts sometimes not. so after she said that I went out and got her a thoughtful gift that was something I knew she wanted. I'm broke but i spend $30 on it b/c i knew she really wanted it. I gave it to her the next time I saw her, that time and the next couple times i have seen her she said again that my gift was out in the car, or at home, or not with her whatever. then since then the last few times ive seen her it has not been brought up. I know it would be rude to say anything but how can I bring it up? It always seems like i get screwed like this. and i dont want to hear crap about the spirit of xmas b/c i know that i shouldnt be so greedy and materialistic. Ive already tryed asking her if she had watched the dvd's that i gave her for xmas but that didnt work.

I live in Toronto, Canada. I will be attending the opera in mid March, at the Princess of Wales theater with a male companion.

What type of attire should I be wearing? Pictures, etc would be of great assistance. Also if someone could help with male attire hints and tips that would also be wonderful.

I do not want to show up and look too over or under dressed. I, nor any of my close friends, have ever been to an opera.

Thanks for your help.

Tonight when I was waiting for the bus. Four college age boys was walking past me, one of them knocked my bag with groceries down. Other one pushed me down. They were laughing and saying mean things when this other gentleman somehow took one of the guy onto ground. The gentleman said if everyone doesn't start run, he'll break the boy's neck. After they all ran away, this gentleman got up and tell the boy to run or else.
He helped me up and apologized for what happened. He also put the groceries back into the bag and hand it to me. He even take out twenty dollar and told me that it's all he have but I need it more to buy foods that got broken. I tried to refused, but he made me take it. He stand and didn't say much, everything I asked, his answer was short and vague. When the bus came, I asked him what his name is, he says "my name isn't important. If you want to show your appericate, support the local high school and college wrestling team" and walked away.

I am in school to be a teacher while I am a student teacher at the same time. 2 mos ago, it was promised to me that I could work with a certain class (1st grade) for the last quarter of school (when I f/t student teach) if I worked w/ 8th graders now. I hate 8th grade but I will do it if it means I get my 1st graders back later. There is another student teacher w/ the 1st graders now who decided she will not give them up. I love these 1st graders. I have gotten to know them really well, and I was promised my final quarter with them. This other lady is freaking out and tomorrow we have a meeting to "discuss."If u ask me, there is nothing to discuss b/c I was made a promise and I'm sorry that this other lady was shafted. Sometimes I am not taken seriously b/c I am younger and pretty. I am also Latina and can get a temper.
What tips can u give me to stay calm but still not back down and "win" what was promised to me from the getgo?
Anything u know, like a power color to wear, anything

I have my own boyfriend, but I made a comment, saying that the singer Aaliyah's brother, Rashad, is cute. & a lady said, "Let your boyfriend hear you say that! How would your boyfriend react if he heard you say that?" I know I would never cheat on my boyfriend.

Many people fantasize about celebrities. I know plenty of married men who dream about being with Beyonce.

that is so childish! People are people no matter how much meat is on the darn body! there are more problems going on in the world then for us to be judging people on who much they weigh, its noones buisnees and noone has a right to jugdge about it. I find most people who are overweight that became my friends were way more wonderful beautiful trustworthy people then friends that were stick thin. I am very little my self but when i see my friends i never see the weight i see the eye and the soul! God bless you all !

There's "not making contact," and there's "cutting off contact." I've only ever done the latter when someone's done something to hurt me, has betrayed my trust, etc. Once or twice, though, I've gotten a hard time from others about my decision to cut ties with someone. Just wondering what you think....

I'm part(if you can call it that) of a club at my college that has a big 8 day walk planned from one city in my province to another,in protest and to raise awarness of the genocide that is currently occuring in Darfur,BUT the group leader decided to just sign himself and his friends up for the walk, and then told the rest of us that the walk was full, but that we can help by putting up posters.WE are ALL pissed because we are members of the club, but He and his FRIENDS get to do this?I asked him about this and he said they couldn't have more than 20 pppl walking, but there are less than 20 people in the club! His friends were never in the club, but now they are suddenly the planners, and even though we are supposed to have first dibs we didn't.I want to call a meeting just to ***** him and his friends out!But I know they would say what matters is that the genocide is getting attention so what could I say to that not to sound shallow?I mean why don't they just put up posters if its so great?

long story short a ****** in my gym room hit me in my eye for my axe. yes the deordeant spray, he gave me a black eye. what got me so mad/sad was that it was a black person that did it. IM BLACK!!! I make it a point to not fight people expesialy my own people. I guess the real reason is that we just got finished watching a movie about martin luther king and how we all must get along and stuff and 5 minn. later this happens. ironic. its not the evil white man who hits me its the ingornant *** ger I call him that because after seeing his rap sheet in our school(his counsler acutaly described him to me as a druged out phycopath who is poor and his family only live here in the good old subbrbs because of welfare. because of the reasons I can not bring it to myself to call him a black person. him and people like him make me ashamed to be black. i guess my real question is that I might be able to sue him do you think i should? or let it slide because he is regretably one of us.

I was grocery shopping earlier today and this man in a wheelchair was planted in the middle of the isle blatantly ignoring the people waiting to get around him. Being in a hurry, I slightly pushed him out of the way so people could get by as well as myself. He began yelling at me so did other shoppers in the isle. What is wrong with this guy? Just because he is in a wheelchair, he gets to inconvience everyone else? And what is wrong with the other able bodied customers? They wanted him out of the way just as much as I did but have the nerve to scold me?

I am the orchestra director and he is the choir director at the same high school. It just happened over the weekend, and I learned about it through the band director. Since he didn't say anything directly to me, I don't know if I should make a gesture, But then again, I want him to know that I care about him and hope he is able to work through it for himself. Any ideas?
