When you use a public toilet, & decide not to sit but to hover, do you put the seat up or hover over the seat & pee on it? Some of the girls here are fed up of getting to a public toilet & finding it wet. If you must hover, please put the seat up. Why do you not lift the seat before hovering or sit down & keep the seat clean?

Classy. Where on earth do you work???
Anyway it has been proven that a toilet seat has FAR LESS germs than the computer keyboard we are using right now!

You never know, while hovering you may loose balance and if the seat were up, your butt might end up in the toilet water. How about hovering and then making sure if you wet the toilet seat- clean up after yourself?

It's rare that the seat is wet because someone peed on it. The seat gets wet when you flush it, and water sprays up from the bowl. The public toilets have an especially violent flush for some reason. This happens, to some degree, EVERY time you flush, so just get used to wiping it off and using the paper cover.

aHA! So THAT is where it comes from! And all this time, the guys have been getting the blame for that! Now we know! If there's wet seats in the women's rooms, then it can't get blamed on a guy, can it? And you want us to put the seat down... Do the hovering gals put it down too, when they're done?

Its bad enough to hover, its Sooo tiring. Anyhow, your hovering for a reason, you don't want to touch the toilet, yet alone sit on it! You know how bad it is to know already how many people used that thing, no matter how clean or dirty it looks, I don't want to touch a public toilet. Period! (this apply's to NO sanitary tissue paper for toilet seat in handy)

Don't you have a tissue roll or something in the toilet? if there is one then people should lift the seat touching it through some tissue if there is a chance of one wetting it during the peeing process.

They do have those sanitary seat covers and some genius found a way to automate those seat covers. There's a container on one side and a bin for the used ones on the other side... you pull a lever and the used bin takes in the used cover and a fresh one automatically slides onto the seat... it's amazing!

Why dont you pple just install squatting toilets and avoid the problems of sitting / hovering? Sitting on those toilets can give you terrible infections

I usually urinate in an upright position so as to avoid the whole hovering / sitting problem.
