I have done this, but only on rare occasions when I'm in the middle of eating something and suddenly have to go really bad. I generally just grab everything and go. However, I take coffee to the bathroom all the time. Am I strange or do others do these things as well?

I am not the god parent, just an invitee. I am oblivious to what would be customary for this occasion.

Why do American's say "erbs" when there is clearly an "H" in front of the word? It's not silent.

I run a hostel and have just been told that a girl has over $400 missing from her purse. How do I approach this subject with the people that are staying there. I know I may never find out who did it but how can I at least do something? What do you suggest?

If you don't leave a tip, are you a cheapie? I usually only tip servers who bring my food out to me at a table in a sit down restaurant. I think it's wrong to impose that kind of pressure for tipping just to get a few donuts from behind a counter. Any thoughts?

If your answer says it's OK, to whom should it ok? My colleagues or just my close friends?

One more thing, Am not gonna post them since people living around, when should I hand them ? it is too early now, isnt it??

Any other thoughts ?

MANY THANKS for your inputs!

My friends and I have been ordering pizzas then calling back and saying that the sausage isn't cooked to get free ones. The manager said "All of our meat toppings are precooked and then frozen so it couldn't possibly be uncooked." I told him I didn't care there must have been a mistake at the plant and I was fed up with eating raw pig on my pizza. We ate all of it save the sausage. I think they're getting wise to us though. Should we try it again? Yay or nay? What's a good one to use on them?

I an older bride, and I am paying for the entire wedding myself. I've told several people at my job that I am on a tight budget and that we are having a very small wedding and only inviting family and old friends. Some of the "old" friends are who I work with and have known professional for awhile. But, I am still getting people saying to me "Just make sure I am invited to the wedding." One girl actually gave me her address and she has only been working here for about a month! I'm so taken aback that I don't really say anything, but there has got to be a tactful way of saying..."sorry, your not invited." Any sugessions out there?

I have noticed that some people have the amazing ability to have a phone conversation in a room full of people without bystanders overhearing the conversation. How do you do that?
Everytime I try to lower my voice, i usually have the person on the phone asks me to speak louder and then I'm back to square one.
I always end up having to leave the room to have confidential conversations.
Please help!!!
p.s.-this question is for a landline and yes, I'm worse on the cell phone.

I was shopping and saw the cutest little thongs they were for young girls 10-12 years I think. They were so cute though, I wish we had them back when I was that age, that would have been so cool. Should I buy a pair for my niece?

I'm old school when it comes to business attire and our office has gotten very laxed. We have a new young female co-worker that often wears pantyhose with her outfits unlike the rest of the women in our office. I want to encourage her to continue dressing professional by not going barelegged and tossing the hose like every one else has done. I want to compliment her on the way she dresses and how professional she looks when she wears hosiery without seeming like a pervert. Any suggestions?
