I'm siding with Leilajoan. If you haven't bought the ticket in the first place, then how could you possibly have won the lottery?? If you had the ticket and lost it, then being angry is an obvious reaction. But not if there was no ticket to start with.
You could use that excuse every week and say that your numbers came up but you didn't have a ticket.

why does everyone think if their numbers come up and they dont play them then they've lost a fortune?

if you had played your usual numbers then you would have actually changed history in a very slight way. then everything after would be slightly different, including the winning numbers.

so even if you did play your numbers on time there is no way you could say they would still have come out in the draw - a completely different set of numbers would have come out and you would have won nothing as usual.

i heard a story of how a guy let a girl ahead of him in a queue for tickets and her numbers came up. he was called the unluckiest guy in the world because everyone thought he would have got those numbers. but its the same story as before. he would have gotten different numbers, so would she have, AND different numbers would come up in the draw and NEITHER of them would likely have won anything.

Far too many serious answers on here. Lighten up a bit......surely a crime of passion and no chance of a conviction?
The wife could have bought the ticket then bu**ered off and sent you a postcard.

A case for justifiable homicide. Husband then gets the life insurance as compensation. I presume that the win was over £10.00.

That question will offend people who have been affected by Domestic Violence, whether they were first hand to it or they have a family member who is/has been a victim of Domestic Violence. Cause i am offended.

With respect, your question is inconsiderate and unthoughtful.

Men should NEVER hit women, its cowardice.

Unless they are in a life threatening situation by a huge lunatic woman who has escaped from the local funny farm.

In a word, no. That's regardless of who is giving and who is recieving the violence. Maybe you should try looking at things a different way.
