We're doing a role-play in class for our college assignment. There are four people in a team including myself.

The thing is, the team leader is kinda getting on my nerves. If it were real-life, he'd probably be one of my boss-from-hell - bossy, snobbish, 'know-it-all', and *never* listens. Talk about team-work!

So how do I tell him off tactfully?

Oh, by the way it's Business Communications class so I need to find an alternative to ungracefully yelling at his face or breaking his neck. Lol.

I have an impolite habit of doing this sort of thing without asking first. I can't help it. I love sampling furniture and everyone else's cooking is always better than my own.

Its for a gay couple that has lived together for about 20 years. Normally I put both of thier first and last names on things. However i'm sending something form online this year and there is only 14 characters for first name and 14 characters for last name. How should I address it? with just one of thier last names? whose should I put?

I work in an office with 6 guys and 2 girls, and we are having a blind polyanna, so the gift has to be neutral. Thanks.

It all started when my new neighbor moved in a couple weeks ago. At first everything was quiet, but now every night for the past week or so I've been hearing awful noises coming through the wall.

At first it sounded as if he was beating a small child, because I'd hear wimpering and crying, but last night I put a stethescope up to the wall and realized that wasn't the case. I think he is masturbating violently, possibly using whips to lash himself or have a quiet partner lash him, or autoerotic asphyxiation, etc. I'm not sure. After he is done (which is punctuated by a strange coo-ing noice) he sits in his bed and cries for a while.

Now I've not no problem with what people do in the privacy of their own homes, but I feel he should respect my right to sleep without hearing him pleasure himself.

How can I tell my neighbor to keep it quiet without causing a lot of embarrassment and hostility? He's got at least a year lease, so I'd like to nip this one early on.

I just responded to another question...the girl is 17 and lives with her boyfriend and his parents and she wanted to know if she should quit her McDonalds job....

I looked through the questions and no one said anything about the fact that this young girl lives with her boyfriend and his parents at 17? Personally, I think his parents ought to be carted off to jail for allowing such a thing.....Am I the only person who sees this behavior as completely irresponsible?????

she asks what size clothes i wear, that if i continue to eat that way i'm going to get as big as a house. but she says these things in a very mean critical way and then laughs about it and does not stop.where i come to the point to just throw my lunch in the garbage. its very embarassing for me because other coworkers are listening. oh and she is thin of course.

My secretary recently asked me to try to clean up her laptop so it ran better. She asked me to clean out some old files, defragment it, and generally try to make it work better. ( I had mentioned to her I have a maintenance routine I perform on my computer to keep it running well). During the course of cleaning out her old files, I ran across a picture of her in a very revealing pose.

I haven't said anything to her about it. Should I? If so, what should I say?

1. Hair dressers: If I tip 2 dollars for a 12 dollar haircut, how much do I tip a $100 haircut in a more posh salon? do they expect the same percentage?
2. How much to tip taxi drivers?
3. Do I tip my massage therapist (in a clinic, not a spa) and physiotherapist?
4. How much to tip the person who does facial? Do I pay tips at the counter or hand it to the beautician directly?

I want your opinions. What do you think about someone working in a cubicle environment who clips their fingernails in their cube all the time? I'd especially like the male perspective on this.

I have a co-worker who does this and insists that it is perfectly appropriate. He claims that any guy would agree with him. Tell me what you think!

I have a couple of good friends who send me stupid forwarded emails, like sign this and forward to ten friends or illegal mexicans will take over the country or cutesy little stories that are nice but have FW: FW: FW : FW: FW: FW: fw in the subject line so they've been forwarded a hundred times. How can I politely ask them to stop? I would put them as spam, but I do get other emails from them as well. It's starting to annoy me and clutter my inbox.

We had a meeting with him today to discuss pay, and he did it again. He just sat there and filled his underwear, so we all felt obliged to leave. How much longer can he get away with this?

He starts it in the winter every week day. the noise is driving me crazy because it wakes me up, I don't believe it has a muffler and it's so loud it vibrates my house. He doesn't seem to care about what people think though.

I'm going to an office Christmas party on Friday. The gown I'm wearing is very low cut in the back. The last time I wore it I wore one of those strapless, backless bras that has really stiff wires and hooks like a girdle... talk about uncomfortable! I'm relatively small breasted, so I'm wondering if it's okay to just go braless??

What would you think if a family member/friend gave you a nice family portrait of the giver's immediate family(dad, mom, baby) as a christmas gift. It seems strange, and im not really comfortable giving this as a gift.
