Someone who is on a pension, unless they have specified otherwise, is like anyone else--they like almost anything. Have you considered a small, medium, or large bag of groceries and a money card? It could help them out.

Cash always works. They can do what they wish with it. Better than a gift card, because they have to spend it somewhere they may not want to. With cash they can get more Rx.

If you are talking about people who are in Nursing Homes, in my brief experience as a CNA, they want someone they don't know to show up with skin lotion, massage their feet, and do a pedicure.
Christians could think of it as a kind of 'foot washing'!

i'm asuming you mean prisoner as in INMATE? They want cigarette's, good Deoderant, a deck of cards, and a home cooked meal! Seriously i asked my b/f what he would want if he was locked up! Oh and some good books to read to! Maybe a nice soft pillow too!
