Don't wait around for a hand out. Go out and make money yourself to put food on your table. There are jobs everywhere if you are desperate enough.

You need to take a look @ how you are currently spending your money and maybe prioritize...might want to cancel your internet subscription in exchange for cash to buy food. If there's a reason why you need to keep your internet connection, try visiting your local food bank or welfare office...that's what they are there for. Not trying to be mean but you need to take a step in the right direction if you're going to get yourself out of your current situation.

You probably are not looking in the right places. If you can't afford food, truly can't afford it, there are agencies in every state and community that will help. Food Stamps are available, religious groups have plans and assistance, towns and communities usually have aid programs for people with low or no income. Talk to any county official and tell them your problem and they will likely direct you to the proper authority.

Um, have you contacted Welfare or Wic? You have managed to find internet access. Perhaps less time online and more time flipping burgers would also help. I'm not being mean-if you need a second job, go get one instead of asking Yahoo users for help.

Get rid of the cable and the internet and that should free up a 100 dollars right there.

I know what you mean! A few years ago (ok 1 year ago) I was not poor enough to get food stamps, but sure as hell didn't have enough money to live comfortably. I wound up borrowing a lot of money from my parents just to pay living expenses. Our government sucks!
