All of the video suggestions are good ones, but you'll have a hell of a time getting a tape that lasts all night. A better solution may be time-lapse still shots (set up a camera to take a picture of your car every 5 seconds or so). Once you have a general idea of when at night its happening. You can take more decisive action with a video camera (or a baseball bat, your choice).
Also, get your tires from a place like America's Tire Co that insures their tires against that kind of damage.
One more tip: Keep the old tires. If they were all slashed the same way, they will be good evidence if you have to go to court.

First, make sure you report the incidents to police so there is a record. If you are able to, set up a camera that will catch whoever is approaching your car. If you don't park in front of your home, ask a neighbor you trust to let you set a camera in their window to try and catch the SOB. If you park in a garage, try to park where there is a camera and request to see the tape, if there is one. Whatever you do don't confront the person without witnesses. If they can slash your tires, they can slash you. Maybe you can ask the local police to fingerprint the car. It's possible the vandal put his hand somewhere on the paint.

Do not slash his tires. If this person is very cruel and clever, he is already expecting you to do just that, and he might be setting you up. Plus, what if you're wrong and got the wrong person. Like the others said, if you have a way to record your car on video do that, but I'd just recommend calling the police. They may not act on it much though, unless you have decent evidence already, in which case, the video may be the way to go.

Wow. Other than calling the cops. Your ONLY other choice would be getting a cheap camera that records. Thats horrible. I mean you could stake out your own car, lesss say from a friends wehicle parked nearby. I fyou think you know whose doing it, slash there tires! hahaha immature but what else can you do!

You catch them by getting it on tape. Tape them doing it. They should have to pay for it. Why are they slicing your tires? If the tape thing doesnt work go slash their tires. Of course thats risky but I think theyd stop it then.

Wow, 3 times. That's got to be a drag. Park your car in a well lit area, install security camera's and then file a report with the police each time it happens. If you're lucky enough to find out who the jerk is take them to small claims court and sue to recover your expenses. Just remember to keep a paper trail of everything.

put a video camera up pointing to your car. When you catch them, turn it over to the police. But if you have no conscience go slash their tires.

Wait for them, and video tape them. Thats your best bet. THEN you got proof and the police can do something. You may have to catch him more than once tho. You might think about moving too.

Have you called the cops at all yet? Do you know what time frames this person usually does it? They might be able to catch them and/or get a restraining order.

Catch them on tape and have their butt arrested. You may loose a few nights sleep, but they could end up as someones boyfriend in jail for a few days. That would be sweet revenge.
