he read his bible and went to church on his own and yes he was saved,but why do people ask...are they going to tell me sorry he wasn't saved he will burn in hell for eternity ...what the ****!

about life and our surroundings. Why do some Christians get so angry at the research scientists conduct. Our desire to want to understand the way our bodies work has lead to many discoveries and cures that prolong our lifespan. Shpuldn't we all be more open to the possibilities of what science may have to offer even if it means we may find out something that may be viewed as disturbing? Shouldn't we want to know everything we can about the world around us?

I am asking this question out of curiosity since I have problems saying that I am Indian, which I am not, since I'm not from India. I feel comfortable saying I am Native American; however, there seems to be alot of people out there thinking otherwise.

I just want to understand why dont you guys feel that God doesn't exist or that its highly unprobable that He does...
You say that its because you cant see Him and that there is no proof.
Also you say that the bible is false and has no facts in it and therefore cannot be 'accepted'.
But.......????
You cant see love,,....but that exist...right.
If you really think about how detailed us as human beings are, do you really think it was all by chance?
And as for the bible, there is a lot of facts about the earth, and events that happen on earth that are documented in it, which validates that it was inspired by God. For example in the book of Job when he was inspired to say that the earth was a sphere.... That wasn't discoverd until thousands of years later...

My younger sister asked me to be her Confirmation Sponsor. I moved to North Attleboro a little while ago and while I have attended church with family members in Rhode Island and Foxboro, MA I would really like to be able to attend regularly at a church that is closer to my home.

Also, if anyone knows what the actual requirements are for being a Sponsor for a Catholic Confirmation I would really appreciate it.

I need ideas for wat to get my boyfriend for Christmas. He's 16... doesn't do sports but plays the guitar. He's already got clothes which cancels out my original idea.
He's said stuff about how hes lost most of his guitar picks... so are there some special guitar picks out there that he would love?

I recently met a Muslim man, who is interested in making me his second wife. Is this something that can be done here in the U.S. because this is his religion. is religion an exemption from the law ?He said that he is able to take care of 2 wives only, because he also has family in another country.

As the Muslim communities are not protesting in the modern nations, that can mean only one thing, that they support the decision of the court. People will say she was lucky to get off with what she did, but it still does not change that Muslims keep their mouths shut at a grave injustice. Beat the children also then and put them in jail, as they picked the name, why is that not happening?

This is the problem when you go into countries that are slightly above that of the stone age and bring them into the modern world. The people's minds are not formed enough to make rational decisions, as is classic in this case. It is time that the Muslims in the G8 nations either stood up for injustices by their Muslim brothers world-wide or they were kicked out and sent back to what they wanted to escape from.
