For those who answer questions with nasty little insults?

This hasn't happened to me too often but I find many people respond to questions they either don't llike or don't know the answer to in the most demeaning and barbaric ways. It makes Mr. Bill tear up, though Mr. Bill has no tear ducts. How should these people be punished? Blocking? No, Mr. Bill doesn't like blocking those with the same 1st amendment rights as he, which makes Mr. Bill a bigger patriot than anyone even though he knows this county is going all to hell. I personally think we should water-board the little pissants though that doesn't fit in to my normally socialist point of views. What then? Ignore them? Let them have their jollies? Why don't we just have Mr. Hands feel them up? This is not reward time, folks.

Best punishment wins 10 points.

I usually smack the culprit on the forehead with the meaty part of my palm, and say, "May any deity, that may or may not exist, bless you in accordance with their unique rituals of blessing. However, if that deity, that may or may not exist, is a wrathful and vengeful god or demigod, may he or she not bless you in an evil way."

Then I take a step back, make "guns" with the thumb and pointer fingers on my hands, and make 2 clicking sounds when I point at them.

So what's your approach?

Ornaments, scratch up the meal, presents if any at all, and muster up cheer and joy for everyones sake?
My children and I had several like this when they were young. We had love and each other and it was okay by us.
We made phonebook trees and spray painted them gold. Paper garlands, popcorn and cranberry garlands, cotton ball snowmen, a borrowed silver tree that was old even then (it even came with the colored light wheel), and Christmas eve enough of a pay day for a chicken. Luckily we had plenty of corn syrup and tons of pecans to shell for pies.
My older kids bought the youngest dollar store baby buggy. I think one child got a pair of sweat pants and the other a sweat shirt.
I was pregnant and working one of these times with a cord running to my neighbors for electricity. But it was all good.

In my life, I've met two people that I can think of that disbelieve both modern evolutionary theory and Biblical creation. Aside from those two, all the thousands of people that I've encountered that reject TOE believe that the Abrahamic God created everything.

Does anyone here reject both concepts of origin? If so, what is your alternative explanation (assuming you have one)?

Just trying to learn a bit about other people, here.

Lately I was introduced to this concept of 'Once saved, forever saved', where once you receive Christ in your life, then no matter how much you sin, no matter what you do in your life (even killing, having countless sex, etc etc), once you repent, you are still accepted into heaven.

It seems to me that our culture makes nudity shameful and nasty and disgusting way too much. If you associate being nude with sex then this is a problem, but the two do not automatically go together. The body is beautiful and natural, it is only peoples minds that make things shameful or disgusting.

Yesterday was memorable, the cat for some reason came down with diarhea and there is a mess all over the house, cleaning it off the hardwood floors is the easy part, the area rugs and furniture is going to be a challenge. :-(

He also messed all over himself so wrestling him to the floor and cleaning him was not pleasant. It makes me gag. It isnt even my cat, really, its my exe roommates so it really ticks me off. We have a real love/hate relationship because he is so badly behaved. Not that he did this on purpose but --

THEN to put the frosting on the cake my tooth broke off. I know you Americans pay as much for dental work as we do. This is just a nightmare.

Its very demoralizing, its bad enough being on social assistance but to have to start to look the part of what most people have a stereotypical image of: "people on welfare" is really hard to accept.

My nurse was late coming to change my dressing so the demerol had word off by the time she got here - not a good day

It is quite clear from many readings, that Jesus lived in Judea. At the time, Judeans were known as Jews, regardless of their practicing religion, much the same way as a person from America is called an American. He never practiced Talmudism or Judaism in any regard, other than living in an area with other Judeans (Jews).
