does it seem odd to anybody else, with all these claims that there are real scientific theories, which do not evoke the supernatural and dispute the theory of evolution, that every scientist who disputes evolution seems to jump on the creationism/intelligent design bandwagon?

i don't have a list, but i keep hearing creationists talk about them like they're the scientists to believe.

if we didn't evolve, we could have devolved... i know it's stupid, but it's still a possibility...

whoa whoa whoa!!! i'm not arguing for creationism folks... sorry to give the wrong idea. the point i was making is that anyone who claims to be a "former evolutionists" and now adheres to the "theories" of creationism, was obviously always a creationist.

i thought the quotation marks around former evolutions would have been a dead giveaway...

rhonda, then a god could not just exist without a design... you logically explain how and i'll believe anything else you tell me.

I really wish for once, that all you so called intelligent Evolutionist would take off your thinking caps with the regurgitation pieces glued ever so tightly to you mouths so you can get a good gulp of fresh air to clear your brain washed minds. Then and only then will you be able to look at all the data and come to a more educated conclusion that you've been duped by your narrow minded educators. Evolution is a mathematical impossibility. Yes kiddies it's that simple. And yes, this is meant to be very insulting, and I hope you're all mad enough to actually open your puny little minds for one min. to actually look into the crap you've been shoveling into your heads for so many years. Once you've done the chemistry, Physics and math you realize just how far off base you all are. If by chance any of you out there can explain the chemical process of zipping and unzipping one single gene strand and say this was all chance deserves another lobotomy. And you all claim to know so much. Please go back to school and revisit what you think you know..... because it's quit obvious you have no clue.

What claims are there for real scientific theories that dispute evolution? Evolution is, for all intents and purposes, universally accepted. It is perhaps the most well-regarded theory in science. Those "former evolutionists" as you call them are generally people who, for whatever reason, become "born again," and then find it important to dismiss evolution in favor of creationism.

Everything points to the fact that this world could not just happen with a design. Thus, when someone finally admits that evolution doesn't work to explain away all the wonders of this world, they have no choice but to admit that their must have been a Creator. Evolutionist are stuck inside the box. When they find out that it is impossible for life to according to evolutionist theory then they step out of the box and admit that there is something much greater out there.

Hey another fairy tale about evolution/creationism. There are no such thing as evolutionists. One of the head guys for the creationist movement tries to claim he's a scientist, but all his degrees are honorary and not in science. Try again little one.

Name a few, espcially if you have links and/or references. The thing about facts are you can not just make them up.

Edit:
Creationist are well know for taking quotes out of context and then twisting them to mean what they want. There are some scientists that believe in creation however they are mostly not in biology or related disciplines.

If we didn't evolve then we had to be designed. You either have to be one or the other (evolution or creation). You either believe we were created by chance + time or we were created by some higher intelligence. I know of no other option.

i think you are just having wishful thinking, in fact reports have shown that more and more people are believing in the theory of evolution and a scientific explanation to the creation of the solar system and the universe or the MULTIVERSE

Because the deeper a scientist gets into the laws and nature of reality, the more he realizes that this just couldn't have happened and their must be an intelligence behind it all. Things just don't order themselves, from the tiniest atom to the biggest galaxy.

I don't know if they do unless they become susceptible to brainwashing. I believe it is that most creationists realize that there is a lack of proof for god and become evolutionists.
