Victimised and accused right to the end?

It is highly unlikely that there are any people who have NEVER had anything good happen to them in their entire lives.

"Bad" is a matter of perception. One can't choose everything that happens to them.
However, they can choose to be a victim. If you fall into the false idea that you are a victim it does tend to feed upon itself. If a person is looking for the ways that they have been accused and victimizied then they will find it...most certainly.
I feel that a life is not defined by what happens to you, but how you respond, think and act upon the things that happen to you.

Read the Book of Job. You will see that bad things happen to good people for no reason at all. Job was "Blameless" in the eyes of God and still everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
