It's not offensive. It's based on a false premise -- the existence of a deity.

But I would not say that "2+2=5" is offensive, merely incorrect.

Same thing with this statement of yours.

There is nothing offensive about the truth unless you don't know the truth. Then you shouldn't be offended, you should want to learn how we came to know this love.

If you're an atheist, however, the thought of giving thanks to a being you consider nonexistent is both silly and insulting. Why would an atheist give thanks to someone else for what he believes he has done for himself?

Well they are lies to begin with, shouldn't God thank us for change dude think about there are some people who still worship him at this point why all the anger trips by him
