It seems to me that our culture makes nudity shameful and nasty and disgusting way too much. If you associate being nude with sex then this is a problem, but the two do not automatically go together. The body is beautiful and natural, it is only peoples minds that make things shameful or disgusting.

Well of course being a nudist doesn't mean you never wear clothes, sometimes for climate conditions or certain acitivities clothes are great. But would you consider going nude in a social situation with other people of all ages. My new rules would say you can be naked whenever or wherever you want, but don't have to be. Maybe an exception would be a fancy restaraunt you have to dress up.

As far as improving your body so that you look better, that misses the point. The point is not to show off a great body but to be and feel natural and comfortable with the body you have, naked

Also worrying about getting an erection should not be a problem. You shouldn't get any more erections than you normally get with clothes, and for those normal erections, who cares, what if nobody cares, then it will go away on its own.

wearing a nice suit is good to, the point or question is, if it were possible to be naked whenever you wanted would you sometimes to it?

Oh yes, I love walking around nude. It feels so lovely and freeing! Besides, I've seen men who have bigger boobs than I do walking around shirtless in the summer and I have to keep *my* shirt on??? I think not!!
The best thing I ever did was work as a nude model for the local University Art Deptartment. Talk about a positive ego enforcer! After that I could walk down the street naked. The human body is a thing to be celebrated not hidden.

I think nudity and nudism is a wonderful thing, but I realize it's unacceptable in most of modern society. Fortunately, scenarios as you mention do exist in nudist resorts, in the USA, Europe and elsewhere. Each resort may have variations on the rules. Some are clothing-optional, while others require everyone be nude. Most resorts allow some leeway for new people who haven't tried nudism before. Nudism, whether it's someone's lifestyle, or just their weekend recreation, isn't for everyone, and some people are just too offended or freaked-out by nudity. So it's great that nudist resorts exist, so that nudists and non-nudists can keep from offending each other, and ideally stay out of each others' business.

I don't have issues with being nude (too much anyway) but I really prefer wearing clothes, that way I can compensate and cover up for the things about my body I don't care for and I can have some control over the image other people see of me. If I went nudist I'd only be able to control my hairstyle and shaving interesting patterns into my legs or something I guess if I wanted to get really creative.

I prefer clothing. I like the feel of soft fabric on my skin, I like the look of certain clothing and the power it gives me.
I see nothing wrong or shameful in nudism for those who enjoy it. I'm not saying anything like that or making a choice or judgment about or for anyone else.
For me, and me only, I wouldn't ever do it. I have considered it, I dated a naturist for a year and a half. It just isn't for me; it's not my thing, it ain't the flavor of my kool-aid.....

More freedoms to those who wish to live that "lifestyle".

I do consider myself a nudist. My wife and I are always naked at home and we belong to a nudist club. Nudist are some of the nicest, friendliest, and understanding people you would like to meet. Also nudist actions are more Christian like than many of those talkers against nudist.

I'm a nudist, and I enjoy living without clothes whenever it's possible and not makes me in trouble with authorities.

this is a tricky one but i will say that if we didn't wear clothes i would have NEVER had any confusion about which sex i find attractive.
bad thing is i am nervous about my little fella around guys....that he will stand at attention at the wrong time and place and give some poor homophobe a reason to finally admit that he is really gay(OK that run-on sentence was very un-necessary)

I like clothes. I like dressing up, looking stylish, the feel of nice materials like silk or satin.

and here up north, you need clothes for a decent chunk of the year.

I'd have no problem being naked among people I know, or if everyone was doing it, and it was warm enough.

I've already chosen the nudist lifestyle. It's not rude to be nude. with it comes equality, freedom, and total relaxation.

No, I have nothing against them, but I just feel more comfy in clothes. Plus I don't think that would work in a big city...a lot of bodily fluids roaming around...plus I just don't want to see certain people nakkid...eww, I rather them cover up, don't want to lose my lunch...
