You're catholic and you're asking a question like this...
"Also, if anyone knows what the actual requirements are for being a Sponsor for a Catholic Confirmation I would really appreciate it."
Why are you afraid to ask your priest where you're at now for a church closer to your home? I know some catholics, and they're mighty accomodating when it comes to matters like that.

As far as finding a church, you can simply look it up on the Google ;)
I believe the only requirements to be a confirmation sponsor are to be a confirmed and practicing Catholic. Maybe there is a (lower) age limit, or maybe that is taken care of by the requirement to be confirmed.
The confirmation sponsor agrees to help the student to learn about Catholicism and grow in faith. I was my nephew's confirmation sponsor last year. The parish priest told us sponsors that our job, in a nutshell, is to tell the Bishop that this individual is ready to become a full member of the church.

St Joseph's Church
208 S Main St, Attleboro, MA
A sponser usually has to show up at 2 meetings with the confirmation candidate and they will tell you what is required then. But its just promising to help the candidate with their faith if they need to talk to someone its being a mentor.

A sponsor must be a confirmed Catholic actively participating in the
sacramental life of the Church (attending Mass regularly), and in the life
of the parish community of which s/he is a member.

I've missed placed my web-site that gives updates on where Mass is being held (it even gives it for cruise ships) ... hopefully, I can return and give it to you.
Meanwhile, try the phone book, and make calls.
It's best to talk with a Deacon or Priest for being a Catacumin; in short, you have to be a practising Catholic (goto MAss weekly, & goto confession at least once a year)
=====
Oooo ... Missy (above)has a great one (not the same) ... but this is a great web-site.

Hey, I live in N. Attleboro too. I'm Pagan though. Sorry, don't know where any specific churches are.

Check the yellow pages...
It sounds like a joke, I know, but its true.
I think to be a sponsor, you'll have to probably go to a few classes or masses with her. I was confirmed a few years ago, but I've totally forgotten the process, lol. All I really remember doing was going to those boring-a** Catechism classes where they tell you the same stories year, after year, after year..........................

You're in Massachusetts, just walk down a street, and you'll find a church within three or four blocks.

Go to http://www.masstimes.org
You can put in your city/zip code and find the parish closest to you as well as their mass times.
Here I looked it up for you: http://www.masstimes.org/dotnet/showchurches.aspx?type=CITYSTATERADIUS&q=&country=United+States+of+America&city=North+Attleboro&countrycode=US&statecode=MA
