How would you have reacted if you were Adam when God gave him the ability to name everything on earth? Would you change any of the names and why? Just wondering so please answer.. Danke!!

That would be really hard, especially since I don't speak what Adam spoke. So, I guess we have changed the names. Additionally, I don't think Adam had microscopes & telescopes to identify DNA (which, I think should be changed) or galaxies ... so, did Adam really name everything???
Next train of though is that if we all come from Adam (which DNA experts claim we did origin from one couple) that Adam exists in each of us ... which means as we get teh knowledge & wisdom graced to us from God through the Holy Spirit ... that we're still Adam naming stuff.

Well, it recalls two philosphers (Plato, Merleau-Ponty) that held that a name is not arbitrary, it actually has a connection to what a thing is. Only a handful of people hold that opinion (I tend to it) but that is only because 'only a handful of people hold that opinion' -- if you get my drift. People tend to think what is in the air. No i wouldn't change any ot the names but I don't know what names he picked. He didn't pick English names.

First, I'd be furious...naming millions of different animal species would keep me busy for a while.
Kangaroo= Bellyhopper.
Mammoths=Land Stompers.
Serpent= Stinkin' Troublemakers.
Kangaroo Rat= Bellyhopper Rat.
Cow= Grass-Guzzlers.

If I were Adam I would have named them just as he did, because even though God told him to name them, God already knew what Adam would call them.
