My son is a sophmore in high school and already has a cell, new car, PSP, iPod, TV in his room, laptop (although he really could use a new one), PS I, II and III. I just don't know what kids his age want? He loves basketball, music and of course girls!

Thanks for all the answers! You all ROCK! on and by the way, for you who say my son doesn't need or deserve what he has, you are entitled to your opinion, however, this is a straight A student, basketball player, helps his Mom a lot and has TONS of friends.

Wow can u say spoiled, I hope he is grateful for what you guys do for him. A 16 year old boy huh, does he have a audio system for his car, like a speaker box, a amp, a good stereo. You said he could use a new laptop right well from what it sounds like ur boy is a gamer so if you get him a laptop I would get him an alienware laptop they are the best gaming laptops. A little expensive but well worth it. In way of Basketball does he already have a hoop, music he already has a ipod so thats kinda hard and as for girls you cant buy him a girl so thats outta the question. Money is always a good option to along with other stuff

An electric guitar. Don't buy the "package" that most stores sell for $200 with "everything". Spend the $200 on the guitar ALONE. He can pick up an amp and accessories later. Guitars are drug free and you'll know where he is!

Well, for the teen that has it all... Get him a gift card to Best Buy or Game Stop place where he can buy games and things for all his PS 1,2 and 3... Or give him cash and he can buy what he wants himself...
Also, if you are in the mood to adopt... I could really use a new car.... or even an ipod... ! I'll even cook for you... good luck....

A couple of small presents to open on Xmas day and then gift vouchers that he can spend on what he likes (maybe for somewhere like Borders where there are both books and CDs). Then he can choose what he wants without having to be disdainful because his Mum chose it!

If he loves girls, then maybe you should buy him some cool clothes. You could also give him some gift cards to the movies, restaurants, and stores. This way he can spoil them!
Another option is to buy him a lap dance!

It sounds like your son has too much already. If you really want to give him a priceless gift, set an example by doing something positive in your community. Teach him to respect others and that there is more to life than video games and television.
