Eve listened to the snake(Satan's lie) ate apple - (pride) origional sin I'm able to handle knowing all that God knows / sex without commitment decreases intimacy; ability to (bond) w/ God / Husband (relationship) -> bored w/ mate, distainful, angry (rationalizes affair), starts living double life, religious beliefs fall away, continued decrease in ability to (bond) make/ keep commitments, all in Eve's head-> OBJECTIVED WOMAN -> back to top Eve listened to Satan Lie. Has anyone heard this before?

I usually meditate at least twice a day using soft classical music, or instrumental Christian music, I light a candle, turn down the lights and currently I am using "The Imitation of Christ" as my devotional guide, I also try to say the Rosary daily which is another form of Catholic meditation. Thanks all for another day of interesting debating and learning. Good night.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

that also happened to JW. From my observation, they are have good knowledge of what they belief, the same thing with Catholic, they talk with their heart.

Any specific reason to dislike/object them?

In this video, an impala is being attacked by a crocodile. A nearby hippo rushes over and saves the impala from certain death. The hippo gently carries to wounded impala to a safe place on shore, and appears to show great concern for the dying impala's welfare for several minutes....

How do you interpret the hippo's actions?
What could be an ulterior motive for the hippo's behavior?

why are there so many writtings from before the tower of babel? The chinese were writting on turtle shells, about 5000 years before the tower of babel even existed. There are many other writtings in many different scripts from before then. How do you explain this?

I often get confused if they're genuine homeless (or beggar - I don't know how to call them nicely) asking for help and some changes from civilians, or if they're just pretending to be beggar to obtain money easily from people without hard work and efforts.

What do you think? Would you spare them some changes even if you think they're acting as if they're mendicants?

1 Cor 5: 9,11-13) In my letter I wrote YOU to quit mixing in company with fornicators, 11 But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. 12 For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do YOU not judge those inside, 13 while God judges those outside? “Remove the wicked [man] from among yourselves.”

I'm just not seeing it.. not all who are "disfellowshipped" are fornicators or idolators or drunkards or extortioners.

They are often very insightful about my personality and current problems. Have described lovers perfectly. But not once have they ever predicted something that has come about. Which has led me to believe the future cannot be seen. Do you agree?

This is more or less directed at Pagans and New Agers.

Please do not say "Jesus" "Mary" or "God". Also, please exclude "The Great Spirit" and "Allah" and "Yahweh".

If you are ChristoWiccan or Gnostic, chances are there is a saint whose heart rings very close to your own. Or even if you're Christian.

Atheists, Muslims-- guys, I'm sorry. You guys aren't too... spirit-y, so it seems you've been left out of this question. I'll try to make a question just for you guys. I'm so sorry.

For the rest of you, with Spirit Guides!

Your Religion:

Your Spirit Guide's Name: (NOTE: I realize some Spirit Guides are NOT okay with their names being released, and that's fine, just say that if anything.)

Your Spirit Guide's Form/Significance: (animal specie, saint, human, God, Goddess, demon, angel, fae, elemental, etc.)

Preaching will be thumbs down'd. You have been warned.

Is this no longer socially acceptable? It just seems like society is so rude and in such a hurry all the time? Is this due to technology, i.e. the internet? Should manners fall by the wayside because we are all high-tech now? I am not "Miss Manners" by any means but it just seems like common courtesy is no longer.

First of all, im not gay. And no, i really dont care if you think i am for asking this. But it seems like homosexuality/bisexuality has been a big topic lately. Some people are more open to it and others not so much. The people who say they are against it, most of them are only against it because they say its a sin. Besides that, do you really have any reasons for being against it? Then you have your homophobes that say anything sexual with gays/bis is disgusting. Which is funny seeing as how they think two guys is gross, but two hot girls doing sexual things are amazing, and watch lesbian porn but yet are against it? hm.

So what are your reasons for being for or against it? I want real reasons. Dont say its a sin because you have to have other reasons. If you think its a choice, ok some people choose it yes but they just get fed up with being treated like crap so they go onto the other sex. i doubt someone would choose to be called a queer their whole life.

So lets here your answers

One of the most ignoying Mormon phrases is "You came back to the church." Do you ever think that maybe someone who use to attend the church would go back simply because they miss the people there not because they are "comming back to the Church" as in the doctrine / authority?
