Hell is described as a bottomless pit (Luke 8:31, Revelation 9:1), and a lake of fire, burning with sulfur, where the inhabitants will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20:10). In hell, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, indicating intense grief and anger (Matthew 13:42). It is a place “where the worm never dies and the fire never goes out” (Mark 9:48). God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires them to turn from their wicked ways so that they can live (Ezekiel 33:11). But He will not force us into submission; if we choose to reject Him, He has little choice but to give us what we want – to live apart from Him.

Someone once asked me,What would you do if you found out that the Bible wasn't "True"?
My answer was,I'd still keep reading it, best book I've ever read, but I ask them a question, What if it's "True"?

There are two descriptions of hell in the Bible. One is of a burning fire. Jesus often used the word GEHENNA to describe hell. Gehenna was the refuse dump outside Jerusalem that was always on fire. Jesus said hell was a place of worms, maggots, fire, and trouble. From that we get the image of a lake of fire and the concept of perpetual burning. The evil ones there are full of remorse and torment (see Mark 9:43-48).

well hell is a big pit of fire. where people will be tormented by the demons forever and ever. there are NO second chances once your in hell. your tormented by the sins youve commited during your life. you burn, God is never going to be there for you no matter how hard you pray no matter how many times you ask for forgivness. youve made up your mind you cant change it. demons will never leave you alone. youll never have any peace ever.....
there are some books you can read about how some people have seen hell like they almost died and God showed them hell. this one said that there were people who commited sexual sins in their lifetime and they were tearing at themselves but everything kept grwing back and they would just keep ripping at themselves.
Does that give you a good enough picture!?!?

Hell, according to many religious beliefs, is an afterlife of suffering where the wicked or unrighteous souls are punished.
Hell is almost always depicted as underground. Within Islam, hell is traditionally depicted as fiery.[1] Some other traditions, however, portray Hell as cold and gloomy.

i was told by a friend that someone she was close to had an out of body experience and he went to hell before coming back and it sure scared him as all he saw were people screaming for help , reaching out with their arms for someone to take them out, but as he came back from there he realized this was true and that's why we are told that we make our own plans on where we want to go either heavan or hell, so I suggest you try heavan just in case there really is a hell, because it's a one way trip and no buying your way out.

Jesus describes it best
Luke 16
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23In hell,[c] where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'
30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'
31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

a place full of fear...darkness so dark, it feels like you are wearing it...
all 5 sences being tortured for eternity...
with your ears you hears tormenting screams of people that you can't see...
with your eyes you see demons and other things that no human can describe...
there's a horrible smell of sulfur....(that's the only smell that we cant adjust to, crazy huh?)
the worms eating off your flesh that keeps growing back so they can eat it again....
every day fear becomes stronger and stronger because you realize that there's no way out...
actually i believe it's much worse then that...
