why are there so many writtings from before the tower of babel? The chinese were writting on turtle shells, about 5000 years before the tower of babel even existed. There are many other writtings in many different scripts from before then. How do you explain this?

Isaiah, your answers are getting so bad and illogical can barely take you seriously anymore. So thousand and thousands of scientists are all wrong and you are right?

Saint of Sorts, we do know how the dinosaurs died there isn't any debate about it. According to most "biblical timelines" the TOB was destroyed in about 2300 or so. There are dozens of different writtings from before then.

imagine what will happen if through the internet, within 50 years everyone will be speaking one language and that will last for a couple of generations until the old languages are forgotten.
then comes a cataclysm and destroyes the net, as well as modern transport. people become isolated again and reinvent their languages :)
that's sort of like the tower of babel.

Do you realize that there is still people that have not been identified from Katrina? Yet these same people with their so called scientific facts tell you that dinosaurs roamed the earth billions of years ago and you believe it.That these turtle shell writings are 5,000 years old.Believe what you want to my friend but as for me, I do not.

Can you be absolutely positive about the dates you mention?
Maybe Chinese was so confused God didn't have to mess with it?
Ever look at their alphabet?
Can you imagine what a chinese keyboard would look like.? the alphabet has something like a thousand characters.

Who said we humans are even accurate about known times of writings? Or even the tower of Babel? Nobody can even denote the reason of the dinosaurs extinction or when exactly they became extinct. So what makes you think we would know if chinese writings were found before the tower of Babel? We can only take an educated guess.. And more likely than not they can be wrong.

Simple.
God confused them so they did not understand the languages before then all the languages existed but after God dealt with them...God made it so they could only understand one language.

I think scientists just get their numbers wrong. I think they misdate dinosaurs,etc.But you are right they did do those things. But sure as the world the story of the tower of babel tells us that's how it happened.
