meet midweek usually just have a Bible study. Sometimes a prayer sheet is passed out and someone prays for a minute or two and that's it. I have visited a lot of churches and I know this is true. I would like to hear from some pastors on this question also if they are on line. People, how can we expect revival in our communities, our country and the world if we don't pray together? Ask your pastor about this if your church is like this. What happened to the days when people would meet in small groups of 2,3, or 4 and pray for 20 minutes or more on Wednesday night? Pastors can teach and preach on Sundays. Wednesday night should be prayer night. Can I get an AMEN?

As a child in church I was told that witches and demon lovers practiced getting high, has this incorporated into our modern society with its deviant behaviour patterns?

are the same ones who try to sell religion to the rest of us because "all the answers will be revealed in Heaven."

It seems to me, based on their earthly attitude, that these people would meet "the answers in Heaven" with a big fat yawn

and does it exist?-it seems like all human progress is the overcoming of a self-made or self-inflicted obstacle. a good example: medical progress-there would be no need for new cures if in the first place human beings took good care of themselves...

Isaiah 40:22 "It is he who sits above the circle of the Earth" - provides no indication that ancient sheep herders believed that the Earth was a sphere while science lagged behind.. truly pontificating that the earth was flat and round like the moon.....

Discuss?

I support gays a hundred percent and I'm asking this out of curiosity. There's a reason behind a lot of things, if not everything. Especially characteristics of a person. The predetermined ones come from genes -- Whether you have black hair, blonde hair, blue eyes, dark skin, etc. Personality can come partly from genes, partly from society and environment. So what makes a person gay? I didn't want to say "What causes Gayness" because that makes gayness sound like a disease or something. So is it genes, society, or some other forces of nature/human?

Queens often went before the King to plead someones cause.
Are you aware that in the Davidic line of kings it was the Queen Mother, the mother of the King that was given that title?

We as Catholics believe Mary was filled with God's Grace since birth, and the she lived her entire life in that Grace even before her committment to bear Jesus. What is your opinion on this? Why do you think he called her "full of Grace" prior to her "Be it done with me according to Your Will?"

What needs to happen? What needs to take place? What is the power of God's relationship with the Holy Spirit? What is being filled with the Holy Spirit of God? What is the purpose? How can God use an individual? I doubt any of you understand what I mean or can even comprehend the goal which I hope to achieve; but what are you thoughts anyway?

Okay atheists, you say you are incredible experts with regards to the Bible, that seeing several contradictions in it caused you to doubt in it. All right, fair enough. But if you wouldn't mind, I'd just like to ask for the verses in the Bible that you came across that were contradictions. Please do not mix this with a science argument, this is solely about the fatal flaws within the Bible itself. If you are going to answer, please give me the verses and edition you are referring to, that way I can better learn what is wrong with my religious view point. Also refrain from mocking me, saying I am so stupid not to realize them myself. Ridiculing my ignorance will not prove that you are correct for your lack of belief, which is what I would really like to have. Also if the points are so obvious then it shouldn't be an issue to easily show me them. Plus, most of you have thoroughly read the Bible several times as a child, so you are experts and have them memorized probably.
