Contradictions in the Bible?

Okay atheists, you say you are incredible experts with regards to the Bible, that seeing several contradictions in it caused you to doubt in it. All right, fair enough. But if you wouldn't mind, I'd just like to ask for the verses in the Bible that you came across that were contradictions. Please do not mix this with a science argument, this is solely about the fatal flaws within the Bible itself. If you are going to answer, please give me the verses and edition you are referring to, that way I can better learn what is wrong with my religious view point. Also refrain from mocking me, saying I am so stupid not to realize them myself. Ridiculing my ignorance will not prove that you are correct for your lack of belief, which is what I would really like to have. Also if the points are so obvious then it shouldn't be an issue to easily show me them. Plus, most of you have thoroughly read the Bible several times as a child, so you are experts and have them memorized probably.

I really would have liked these responses a bit more if they weren't copied and pasted lists and websites, but from own personal experience and comments. However all of the different supposed contradictions are things for me to study and chew on, a few I have noticed and already seen an answer or something to that effect.

In response to the Adam before animal issue, it says in Genesis that God made all of the animals, then on the 6th day he created the Garden of Eden. Within the garden he made trees then man. Seeing that man was lonely, he then created 'copies' of the other animals of the world for his companions, and not finding any suitable created woman for him. That is my best interpretation of it, that all of the other animals were created within the garden, not to be confused with God filling the world with animals prior to this. Arguable, but as far as I understand the wording it seems to fit. The wording of God filling the world with all the living creatures helps.

Opponents of Christianity will cite what they consider a Bible contradiction or difficulty by comparing one verse to another (or more) that seems to disagree with the first. If we read the Bible at face value, without a preconceived bias for finding errors, we will find it to be a coherent, consistent, and relatively easy-to-understand book. Yes, there are difficult passages. Yes, there are verses that appear to contradict each other. We must remember that the Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1500 years. Each writer wrote with a different style, from a different perspective, to a different audience, for a different purpose. We should expect some minor differences. However, a difference is not a contradiction. It is only an error if there is absolutely no conceivable way the verses or passages can be reconciled. Even if an answer is not available right now, that does not mean an answer does not exist. Many have found a supposed error in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to find out that the Bible is correct once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

Actually the Bible does contradict itself sometimes, but only because it's written by many people.
For example: If you went out to the street and asked 50 people what the most important things in a story were, you would get contradicting answers.
Since the Bible was written from more than one point of view over many years, the stories don't have the same facts in them. It only makes sense that there would be differing views. However, the Bible's main ideas and themes are the same.

Most of this is dealt with by "Rick G" in an earlier answer. Three days limit does not give enough time to thoroughly deal with the objections, so I will do the best I can before the deadline. 1. In the first century nobody tracked the genealogy of women. So, Mary did not have brothers nor a father? That may be good Roman Catholicism, but it is not Bible. 2. Both say literally that they are the genealogy of Joseph. Luke 3:23 sates that it was thought that Joseph was the father of Jesus. Since the lists of the day only followed men, they omitted Mary and jumped to the grand-father of Jesus. Chapters one and two clearly state that Mary was the mother of Jesus. So in context with the first two chapters, verse 23 states that Jesus' grand-father was Heli via Mary. 3. Matthew in his effort to force the the triplet of fourteen generations misses four kings and a queen (nice poker hand; you can't make this kind of stuff up; thank you Collins Study Bible. Everybody in Matthew's time knew who all the kings were. Therefore, no deception is implied here. "Son of" implied more than it does today. Note Matthew 1:1 which states, "Jesus Christ son of David, the son of Abraham". Obviously, King David did not give birth to Jesus. "Son of" may apply to a persons father, grand-father, and so on. Note that both Genealogies were never challenged by the enemies of Jesus and Christianity of that day and soon latter. 4. No matter what, they both have separate genealogies for Zerubable(sp?). Two people of different eras with the same name. 5. Under no circumstances would a Jewish Mother name her son Zerubable(sp?): it means son of Babylon. It is an epithet, the equivalent of "Slick Willie" or "Trickier Dick." Different culture than ours. Yes they did! Look at the end of Genesis 29 where Leah names her children she had via Jacob. 5. Probable disappears suddenly which, in combination with the fact that he is referred to by an epithet, indicates that he was "blotted out." This was the ultimate Leviticus punishment for extreme blasphemy (viz: Ahab and Jezebel). The guilty is not only stoned to death but so are his wife, concubines, maids, mistresses, and all issue "unto the fourth or fifth generation." Also, no one is ever more allowed to speak his name and anyone who bears the same name must henceforth go under another name. Not exactly a good forebear for our LORD and savior. There were many poor kings in Jesus Christ's genealogy. No doubt there are dummies in OUR family trees. One of my relatives on my mother's side died transporting alcoholic beverages from Canada during the prohibition. How did he die? Just take the phrase, "crash and burn", to it's most literal extreme. 6. Almost assuredly Nebuchadnezzar slew everyone of the House of David he could. Therefore there are times he did NOT kill everyone. At the end of 2 Kings 25 it states that Jehoiachin king of Judah survived.
