I am in need of a career change without going to college but training up to about 6 months would be ok. I am not cut out for personal care but would like to do something that involved helping others. Do anyone have any suggestions?

First for the atheist:
I totally understand your position when it comes to God. I used to be a non-believer myself at one time. What is it that holds you back from believing that God Almighty truly does love you & wants to have a personal relationship with you?

For my fellow Christians:
Can you relate to the atheistic point of view....knowing that we too, were once non-believers?

Thanks,

Primo

Well I use word Jehovah (as our international language is English) while in Hebrew called YHWH or Yahweh and different language it would pronounce differently such as Italian calls Jehovah as Geova, Indonesian calls as Yehuwa. Japanese as Ehoba etc. however many people debate this as to say Jehovah is another name for God. Is it logical? Just because they are not sure about how to pronounce YHWH name correctly. However, is it really matter? How about Jesus name, isn’t it in Hebrew he was called Jehoshua, Japanese calls him Jesu, Indonesian calls him Yesus, Italian calls him Gesu , Greek calls him I·e·sous´ but no one has a problem on how correctly we must pronounce Jesus’ name or even no one decided to stop using his name.

However, why when Jehovah name is mentioned as the name of The Almighty God. Most of Christianity are debating as there is no correct pronunciation of Jehovah’s name therefore is better for them not to use it. Isn’t it sin coz Jesus himself has made his father’s name known to everyone and he will continue to make it know—John 17:6, 26, (Jerusalem Bible). Isn’t it as Christian (Jesus follower) need to do likewise..The Bible itself clearly said everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved Romans 10:13. One of my Islamic friends told me when they pray they said Allah Hua Akbar. Obviously, Hua is from Yehuwa or Yahweh or Jehovah (depends on your language) meaning Hua is the Greatest God while Jesus is God’s son or his right hand person.

In fancy restaurants there is often a place setting on the table when the diners are seated. Part of this setting is a plate that food is never put on, but is taken away by the waiter early on. What is this plate called? "Charger" has been suggested, but that seems rather vague.

Other than obvious medical problems like clinical depression, low thyroid, etc. I am looking for more than a list of life enhancing things or practices (or a list of the opposite) even though such are useful. I would like some opinions on more general explanations or patterns that seem to make the difference between living and just existing.

I feel that Bangladeshi and Indian media could have done more to warn those in the path of Typhoon Sidr. Many will die today because they didn't get sufficient warning.

Revelations

20:2
And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

Something doesn't make sense to me. It seems like it should read:

And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the the false accuser/slanderer and the adversary, and bound him for a thousand years;

kai ekrathsen ton drakonta, o ofiv o arxaiov, ov estin Diabolov kai o Satanav, kai edhsen auton xilia eth,

see those 'o's? Again, it is removed in the english translation when the word Satan is used.

This is called, translating according to doctrine. Agree or disagree?
