Well I use word Jehovah (as our international language is English) while in Hebrew called YHWH or Yahweh and different language it would pronounce differently such as Italian calls Jehovah as Geova, Indonesian calls as Yehuwa. Japanese as Ehoba etc. however many people debate this as to say Jehovah is another name for God. Is it logical? Just because they are not sure about how to pronounce YHWH name correctly. However, is it really matter? How about Jesus name, isn’t it in Hebrew he was called Jehoshua, Japanese calls him Jesu, Indonesian calls him Yesus, Italian calls him Gesu , Greek calls him I·e·sous´ but no one has a problem on how correctly we must pronounce Jesus’ name or even no one decided to stop using his name.
However, why when Jehovah name is mentioned as the name of The Almighty God. Most of Christianity are debating as there is no correct pronunciation of Jehovah’s name therefore is better for them not to use it. Isn’t it sin coz Jesus himself has made his father’s name known to everyone and he will continue to make it know—John 17:6, 26, (Jerusalem Bible). Isn’t it as Christian (Jesus follower) need to do likewise..The Bible itself clearly said everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved Romans 10:13. One of my Islamic friends told me when they pray they said Allah Hua Akbar. Obviously, Hua is from Yehuwa or Yahweh or Jehovah (depends on your language) meaning Hua is the Greatest God while Jesus is God’s son or his right hand person.
