Why would anybody want to embrace a religion that wanted to change them in the first place?
If your God was as loving as you'd like us to believe, then there wouldn't be a problem.
Love is love, at the end of it all. It should be celebrated and respected, regardless of where it came from.
Now please stop posting the same questions that have no real point or purpose.

I couldn't help noticing your nick name...why are you so bitter?
Anyway, to answer your question: NO. Religion cant make GAYS STRAIGHT but JESUS can!
There's a difference between RELIGION and accepting JESUS Christ as LORD and SAVIOR. Jesus SAVES. But it's more than just conforming to a system of rules and regulations. You cant change yourself. You cant make things right by your own power. It's about FAITH having a relationship with God, based on FAITH - reaching out to God. Admitting your weaknesses, really needing God, calling out to Him in FAITH, with a humble and broken heart and asking Him for His forgiveness and cleansing.
Saying something like, " Lord, I'm helpless without you. I need you. I'm wrong. I'm a sinner and I cant make myself right. Cause I've tried and failed. So Lord, I know you are GOD. Nothing's too difficult for you. HELP ME. DELIVER me now. That I may KNOW you and the POWER of your resurrection. Forgive me and cleanse me now. Give me a new heart. A new Life."

I think Gays can turn themselves straight, but I believe that they would find greater joy in chastity.

Absolutely not.
It only forces people to live their lives pretending to be something that they aren't. It forces them to lie, and betray themselves and their loved ones.

I think a truly christ centered gay man will put Christ first instead of himself and choose to stay out of a gay relationship since God finds that detestable. However he is more than welcome to marry a woman since that is the way his body is designed to work.
