What do you think of Christians and Jesus Christ?

Mormons taught if you had black skin you were cursed before birth for your sin. They taught if your a good mormon you eventually become white.

My question is how can you sin before birth?

A while back I read of a simple saying in English that was sent for independent translation into Greek and then sent again to another translator to be translated from the Greek back into English, The saying was:
"Boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses"
after translation into Greek and once again into English the phrase came out as:
"The men don't make the moves and the ladies who use the crystals"
I think this is a great example of how meaning can be lost and altered when text is translated, and we must remember the Bible has been through so many more layers of translation so the effects will be even greater.

what is the best way to bridge the gap between the younger generation and the senior citizens? The senior citizens represent the wealth of knowledge and experience and lots of love and warmth while the younger generation is ready to assimilate and put into practice the rich experience of the senior citizens.How these corelate at platonic level?

This year for Christmas I won't be sending Christmas cards (except to close friends & family, so just a small handful).I'll email others to wish them Season's Greetings.Also, I haven't bought lots of things for the kids, I'm giving them money.Saves on lots of wrapping paper and packaging, and they can buy what they REALLY want.The things I have bought have been mostly online, so no wasting petrol to get to the shops.And hubby and I aren't buying for each other, instead we have bought stuff we really need for the home.And, we are taking my in-laws out for a meal instead of buying them stuff they don't want or need.Are you having a green Christmas?

I am starting up an educational website around video games and I would like to know how to say "We teach. You pwn"

Granted Latin does not have a word for pwn so any word that means winning or dominating would work.

Oh and just for the sake of adding a definition of pwn:

Pwn is a slang term that implies domination and/or humiliation of a rival. It sprang from the similar term "owned" and is used primarily in the Internet gaming culture to taunt an opponent that has just been soundly defeated. Examples include "pwnage" or "you just got pwned".

Mommy had psychic powers knowing that letting her daughter out in the night would get her killed by a mad man.

Her daughter was killed by the mad man.

Mommy is evil in this case eventhough she did not kill her daughter but she knew that mad man would and sill let her daughter out.

God had FOREKNOWLEDGE that creating Lucifer would end up in Eve getting decieved and billions of people sent to hell and still created Lucifer.

In the end billions of people rot in hell.

In this case God was evil since He knew that creating Lucifer would end up with this result.
