Go Sent Jesus(pbuh):the bible mentions the prophetic nature of the of jesus mission in the following verses
".....and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Fathers which has sent me[the bible, john 14:24]
"And this life is eternal, that they might know thee the only true God,and Jesus Christ,Whom thou has sent."[the bible,Johnn 17:3]
Jesus refuted even the Remotest suggestion of his divinity.consider the following incident mentioned in the bible
"And behold, one came and said unto Him,"God master, what good thing shall i do,that i may have eternal life?"And He said unto him,Why callest me Good?there is none good but one, that is,God;but if thou wilt enter inti life, keep the commandments."[The Bible,Mathew 19:16-17]

KUULIO : You nicely quoted this verse ....
I am in the Father and Father is in me. I and the Father are one.
So you mean to say that Father which is ur FULL GOD with ALL ITS POWER is in JESUS and the half powered HOLY SPIRIT IS ALSO IN JESUS . so DIVINE FULL GOD ( FATHER ) and MIXED GOD ( HOLY SPIRIT ) is inside the MAN GOD JESUS. So means that Jesus the man God is Divine . Then whats the use of ur trinity !!!! Why do u trinitarans hold that Jesus didnt had all the powers but Father had and holy spirit had half powers!
Ha!
Brother ( QUESTIONAIRRE ) , Good joob . You will only hear nusiance , noise and insults and mocks from these trinitarians.
May Allah be with you

No one can answer these Qs from any version of the Bible since the true messages of Jesus Christ were changed with false inspirations and personal letters of St.Paul - a self appointed Apostle.
The present Christianity is a Paulism.
Even God did not say " I AM GOD " since He has no specific name. When Moses asked his name he said " I AM WHAT I AM ". Accordingly the Church ( through Apostles) is creating an Illusion to misguide the believers.
Holy Ghost is an imaginary God created as Paracletos - The Comforter / Helper of Messiah, but unfortunately the ghost could not help the Christ at Cross!
In fact the early Church adopted the Incarnation theory followed by Greek myths and made Jesus a Human-God to increase his status in Greek-o-Roman civilizations.
If three persons are one person then all should die if one is dead ( on the Cross)?

Good luck!
#1... The closest he came to that is saying: "Me and my father are one".-- It could have meant "in purpose" or in so many other things...
#2 it is only implied... The Bible was not written as a single book, but as a collection of books... It was accepted that the number of books in the Hebrew Old Testament equals the number of letters in the Hebrew alphabet, and the number of books in the Greek New Testament equals the number of letters in the Greek alphabet. So the "Word of God" is restricted to the number of letters in each alphabet. The Church Fathers called the whole work "The Word of God" - Take it or better be careful!
#3-5 It is set up that way because of the order in which it has been written in a few places... like "Father, Son and Holy Ghost"
In better times the Church would have torched you alive for questioning any of the above...

Question 1: Read John 14: 6-12. Also Read John10:30 where Jesus said, "I and the father are ONE." I'll direct you to a portion of Scripture, where God Himself refers to Christ as God, Read HEBREWS 1:6-14, in fact read the whole of Chapter 1
Question 2: To answer this Question, I'd have to refer you to a number of verses. Read 2 Peter 1: 20-21. Read John1:1-14, also read Revelation 19:11-16 (especially verse 13)
Question 3-5: The FACT is that God is ONE and He exist in the mysterious Holy Trinity of Father, Son(Also referred to as The Word of God) and the Holy Spirit.
Read 1 John 5:7 " For there are three who bear witness in Heaven: The Father, the Word and the Holy spirit; and these three are ONE." (Look it up, and see for yourself!)

1. I am in the Father and Father is in me. I and the Father are one. John
2. Bible is a collection of writings and didn't come together as one book so no where does it say it is the word of God. However, in all of Paul's letters he says that what he writes and preaches was given to him by God through a revelation from Christ. The law in the O.T. was given by God. The prophets wrote what was revealed to them by God.
3.4.5. At Jesus' baptism the Spirit descends on Jesus and the voice comes from the Father saying, This is my Son........" All discussions about the trinity are discussions concerning understanding the relationship between these three figures. There is no 1st 2nd or 3rd, the Holy Spirit is one part of this relationship, the Son is one part of this relationship, the Father is one part of this relationship. There are 3 persons that are directly and intimately connected to each other in such a way that they are 3 and they are one. Once again, Jesus talks of his relationship with the Father, "I and the Father are one." The Spirit is generally considered the part of the relationship that unites/bonds/holds this relationship together.

All these doctrines are deduced, not "unequivocally stated", as your Islamic websites are asking you to point out. Read these facts and think for yourself...
1.) Jesus never said he was God. He never said he was a prophet, either...but you accept him as a prophet.
Give one single verse from the Bible where Jesus in an unequivocal statement ever said,"I am a prophet." You can't.
Read, and you will understand the deduction of how Jesus could be both God and man:
- "But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins" ( Matt 9:6 )
- "And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee." ( Luke 5:20 )
- "And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven." ( Luke 7:48 )
Who can tell someone their sins are forgiven? Who can forgive sins, except for God?
- "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." ( John 1:1 )
- "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." ( John 1:14 )
How can God be with himself?
2.) The Bible, as it is called today, is a compilation of scriptures written long before ( and shortly after ) Jesus's death. It would not make sense for a book to call itself a book before it was
compiled. However, the Qur'an does exactly that. It refers to itself as a book, supposedly BEFORE IT WAS WRITTEN. Islamic history states the Qur'an was not written and compiled until after
Mohammad's death. When the Qur'an refers to ITSELF as a book, then the verses which do so prove that they were added AFTER Mohammad's death. Islam says that only Mohammad could
speak for God, (via Gabriel). This proves the Qur'an was indeed added to by men after Mohammad's death, and as such is a corrupt book.
Give one unequivocal statement from the Qur'an which says Gabriel identifies himself as an angel of God, OR where Gabriel calls himself the Holy Spirit. You can't.
3.) Trinity is a concept which was deduced from such statements as
- "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30) Was Jesus lying? How can two people be as one?
- "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." ( John 14:26 )
Think about that. The Father will send the Holy Ghost (not a person this time) in Jesus's name, to give Jesus's words.
That should be enough for you for now. Take this back to the mosque with you, if you dare.
-----------
edit: "Ruh-ul-Qudus" is Arabic for "the holy spirit". It does not say Gabriel. That is in parentheses (added later). Qur'an mentions Michael as an messenger angel of God too. Why is HE not "the holy spirit"? When you see these errors, you might consider yourself to be foolish, rather than childishly insulting others for pointing out what you can't understand.

what is the point in asking a question if you just want to attack and belittle all those whos views are different from your own. if people want to believe this then its up to them. to them your faith is also probably just as absurd. if you are a muslim then you are a very rude individual indeed and have much to learn
edit..and like the bloke above said you are challenging the theory of doctrinology except you probably dont have a clue what that is do you...think and learn your topic before you ask questions which you yourself cannot answer.

Jesus is the son of God...the bible is a compilation ( throughout the centuries ) of different books with different authors...therefore the bible cannot state that the "bible is the word of God"...you should try to research first on the history of the bible, it coincides with facts stated in the history of the world literature. if you truly want to get your answers that is......reading the text in the bible and firing away questions without thought or research is like a lawyer going to court without preparing for his case.
