What is an aura? How can it be seen or felt?

What is the Aura ?
Everything in the Universe seems to be just a vibration. Every atom, every part of an atom, every electron, every elementary “particle”, even our thoughts and consciousness are just vibrations. Hence, we may define the Aura as a electro-photonic vibration response of an object to some external excitation (such as an ambient light for example).

The most important property of the Aura seems to be the fact that it contains INFORMATION about the object.

Aura around living (conscious) objects (people, plants ...) changes with time, sometimes very quickly. Aura around non-living object (stones, crystals, water...) is essentially fixed, but can be changed by our conscious intent.

The Aura around humans is partly composed from EM (electromagnetic) radiation, spanning from microwave, infrared (IR) to UV light. The low frequency microwave and infrared part of the spectrum (body heat) seems to be related to the low levels of the functioning of our body (DNA structure, metabolism, circulation etc.) whereas high frequency (UV part) is more related to our conscious activity such as thinking, creativity, intentions, sense of humor and emotions. And this part can be seen with naked eyes.

Why do we need to see auras ?
Colors and intensity of the aura, especially around and above the head have VERY special meanings. Watching someone's aura you can actually see the other person's thoughts before you hear them expressed verbally. If they do not agree with what this person is saying, you effectively see a lie every time. No one can lie in front of you undetected. We cannot fake the Aura. It shows our True Nature and intentions for everyone to see.

Also, aura is our spiritual signature. When you see a person with a bright, clean aura, you can be SURE that such person is good and spiritually advanced, even if he/she is modest and not aware of it. When you see a person with a gray or dark aura, you may be almost SURE, that such person has unclear intentions, regardless how impressive, eloquent, educated, "good looking" or "well dressed" he/she seems to appear.

Everyone has an Aura. But most people on Earth have VERY WEAK and dull Auras. This seems to be a direct consequence of their life long materialistic attitude negating and suppressing the development of consciousness, cultivating fear, envy, jealousy and other similar emotions. Such attitude suppresses their True Nature, and their Auras seem to become suppressed too.

There's the etheric body, it's the electromagnetic field always vibrating around the body it's not solid. It's about 1 or 2" large or thick. This is the one that has colors. The darker the color, the darker the soul... like prostirutes because of their work, unfortunately and the murderers it's usually dark brown or black. For other colors it depends on the state of the mind and the cleaniness of the soul. Naked eye.
The aura, is very much thicker, vibrating too, it looks sort of like a cocoon, about 3, 5' wide (not miles like someone says) envolopping all the body, it's transparent white and finish on top of the head as fontain like It's quite easy to see with naked eye once you know how. You need to look right beside the person, never at the person. With practice, you get there. Sometimes, you shake hand with somebody and you get a little shock, it's your etheric body reacting to the other, or even a door knob. You can see the electromagnetic field when looking at a transformer outside or the wires, you'll see the color blue around that.
Another thing you can see, is the silver cord; when you go to a cemitary close to a new burrial, it goes up from there. It is silver!
This not imaginary nor a distortion, or an illusion... it's as real as a rainbow.

Aura is the magnetic wave which spreads from the energy particles, cos of the whirling motion of the energy particles.This is formed not only in the living beings but also in the non living things.

You can see it directly with your eyes ,just give a little concentration to anybody or anything ,you will see it about 2 to 3 inches in an intensive form aroud the man or the thing.

If you want to feel it you keep both the hands together there should be about 3 to 4 inches gap in between the palm of your hands.Close your eyes & concentrate on both the palms for a few minutes,you will feel a tingling sensation, bring both the hands very close & move back a little, you will feel like as you feel when you are pulling a rubber band & leaving it slowly.Also both the hands will com closer cos of the wave or aura.

!An, Aura is An invisible emanation, and we all has one that include humans, animals and the threes, A particular atmosphere or quality, that seems to arise from and surround a person thing or animal. and it can be felt, by most people if you are aware of your surrounding, have you ever notice how some people act, and that when you are arround them they make you feel comfortable, or uncomfortable, have you ever notice that if you have a pet if certain people are arround they, would behave differently, have you notice this about your self, that you only like certain colors and that some colors will hurt your eyes or give you an headache, have you ever notice, that certain placesyou go to or been around to you had mix feelings or a calm feeling, well all of these situation are called your Aura, it's in the air and it's depends realy on you and only on you to make it happens, and yes most people that you hang arround with, you can tell of they aura by only been there, some old folks call thisnegatives and positives spirits, we all can feel it and also see it daily around in the atmosphera. I think it might be the feeling you get around a person. Some people are more sensitive to it than others.
For example, I can "feel" people. I try not to judge but the feeling is usually right. Some people have a bad feeling, like you want to get away from them. Others have a good feeling. And some are neither. its hard to explain.
This might be related to small unconscious clues from facial expressions, body movements ect, but its an odd phenominon.

Some people claim to be able to "see; auras. They claim a 'good;' aura is yellow/green/blue, 'bad' is red/orange, and 'black' is evil. But i cant say its true for sure.

Aura is your subtle (Suksham) body, which is extended ~9 inch outside your body. A Yogi can stretch his Aura to miles and more power full than normal human beings.

Close your eyes and request some one to move his/her finger between the eyebrows. You will feel as if finger is penetrating your Aura.

The aura is the energy field emanating from ones body. This Field comes from the soul within this body. The energy always comes from the energetic. So The Supreme Energy Also known as the Bramajoti, or the Spiritual Light or the Oneness is the Effulgent light emanating from the Supreme Personality of God Head. (Also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc.) He is the Supreme Person and His light energy is only a minute aspect of His Greatness. We are His parts and Parcels yet He always remains full within Himself. When one sees the sunshine automatically we see the sun or know the sun is behind that sunshine and if one looks closer there is a great deity of the sun named Surya deva. We must always come to the personal level understanding of all things or our realization will be incomplete. The Energy always comes from the energetic. One can easily see someones aura,when they come to the impersonal level of self realization, which one will realize that it is insignificant as they progress spiritually. When one progresses further they will begin to see the heart of the person and understand that every living being is a eternal spirit soul and servant of God who is the Source of all souls. An aura is this realm of vibe that forms around your body and its quality is heavily dependent on the quality of your soul. People who are SUFI SAINTS have such an aura that even man eating animals behave like dogs in front of them. This is because they are ALLAH'S friends and their faith adds this purity and glow to their aura that all the things in the nature identify them and bow down in front of them.

Aura is real and can and is captured on a special camera. It is called Krelian photography. I may have it spelled wrong. I have seen it in photographs. It is the emotional energy emitted by all living beings. As we love or hate this shows up on the camera.
Some claim to see it but I don't know if this is true. I somehow think it is related to the Asia concept of chi..........
It can be transfered and controlled as demonstrated by chi masters in china.

Guddy is right...check out Kirlian photography...it's a special way of taking pictures that actually allows you to see auras. I've seen pictures taken of half a leaf, yet the outline of the whole leaf shows up...it's also beed done with people who have lost limbs...their limbs still show up in Kirlian photography. It's very cool.
