Protestants and Baptists follow accurate essential doctrine and are not considered cults..Witnesses are a cult and they follow man made religion instead of God.
Witnesses are likely on the road to destruction, and in need of the gospel.

Several reasons:
Some, as has been already suggested are from Jehovah's Witnesses who are seeking out other Jehovah's Witnesses or have a question they know only their fellow witnesses can identify with.
Some are seeking a different perspective on Bible teachings or are seeking to clarify something they have read or heard about Jehovah's Witnesses.
Quite a few want to mock, ridicule and/or slander Jehovah's Witnesses
A few are genuinely interested in learning what the Bible really teaches and seek out Jehovah's Witnesses because they are knowledgeable about the Bible.

Might have to do with in some areas the JWs regularly knock on doors and annoy people.:)

I have no idea; I don't personally have a particular interest in that group. Could it be that these questions are being asked by JWs themselves to OTHER JWs?

I'd guess many people find it as one of the more quirky religions...like LDS? Just another religion to me. Nothing surprising or distinguishable. I view all theistic religions as the same...like flavors of ice cream. Whatever the flavor, it's still ice cream.
