because for some idiotic reason they think that there's a difference when there's not. it's still very offensive whether there's an "a" at the end or "er". if anyone called me either of those i'd be pissed.

A very small portion of blacks call each other the "n" word. This is coming from a black person who has lived among black people for her entire life. Trust me on this one.

And the "n" word is urban slang. It's a word that rappers and those who are into the hip-hop culture use. It's not a "Black" thing. They use the word because they call themselves "re-inventing" it. Basically they just want to piss off whites by saying "Ha ha, you can't say it, naner naner naayner." It's quite immature.

I believe there is a difference in the black people who call each other ***** and black people who don't. The ones who call each other that are insucure with who they are and very racist. For an example a black guy saying F**k white but dates a white girl or one that says a white guys is racist for saying white pride but in return says black power those are the ones who call each other ***** but the ones who don't call each other that are the ones who have jobs and aren't gang bangers

Welcome to the hip-hop culture, my friend. You have just discovered one of the most visible characteristics in this particular culture: the scarcity and/or complete lack of reason. If you are looking anything rational in this culture, then good luck!

P.S. Not all black people refer to each other as "N", but I too am mystified by this.

This question is so tired already.

As a black person I do not use nor tolerate that word and when a black person called me that I told them straight up to never call me that again.

I only know maybe seven black people who've I heard it come out of and they rarely even say it, so before you go around saying black people use it all the time to each other make sure your facts are straight.

That is a very good question. I also do not understand why when a white person says it...it can end their life and/or career.

The constitution says we have freedom of speech. I guess everyone should have the right to say it.
