I was saved the third Sunday of June in 2005 at a local New Testament! It was my second time attending the church and the preacher was preaching! During the invitation the preacher said that Christ will save you from your sin if you ask Him to! He then proceeded to say that Christ died, was buried, rose from the grave and was seen of witnesses to save me from my sin! So I asked Him to save me! I was sixteen years old!

Saved? From what? The greek word for salvation is sozo. That means delieverance, healing, prosperity as in financial, health, emotional as well as relationships. Death is divorce, disease, poverty, depression, anxiety. The church preaches about being saved after you die. The Lord is more concerned with what is going on in your life. Yes I'm saved, prospering financially, sound mind, full of peace, happy, great relationships, totally healthy, and using my talents to enlarge the kingdom of God in this earth. Praise the Lord.

Who in the world would WANT to be saved from Jesus? He is so sweet and gentle and loving and kind and merciful and holy and just and gracious!
He died for us and rose again! How could anyone want to be saved FROM Him?

I used to be, then I realizied that it is false. Having blind faith is like jumping from a bridge on a bungie cord hoping that its not too long.
