I could go on and on about annoying mormon phrases. But what is most annoying is how the leaders cloak their threats of hell with a supposed "concern" for your eternal well-being.

ignoying.... ignorant? annoying? hmmm oh well. sounds pretty cool anyways. I might use that.
Maybe some do. Who can really say? But maybe that's a start. A lot of people come to the church because they saw someone with a light, and then they get into the doctrine. It's just another step.
But a lot of people who are excommunicated can't live without the gospel afterwards. They feel so cut off from their soul they see no other choice but to work their way back.

Are you "ignoyed" because the "people there" notice you and are happy to see you?
I don't see anything implied in "You came back to church" except for the obvious that you have physically made it to church after a period of absence.
Would you have preferred, "Oh, you again!"

Is that a combination of ignorant and annoying? That's pretty cool.
I'm not sure what you find ignorant or annoying about the phrase (not limited to Mormons) "You came back to the church." It is simply a statement of fact (or fiction, if you haven't)

I bet some do, although I think a majority of them that truly "come back", as you are saying, regain their faith and don't just come back for the social experience. I think that can be said about anyone going to church because they believe in God and Christ, I am not sure what this has to do with LDS members in particular.

I'd really love to answer this question. But I'm having trouble getting past your interesting vernacular. What, exactly, is "ignoying"? And then in your further details...you have just lost me. Methinks you are too cunning to be understood.

Perhaps. But perhaps people in the church are just concerned about you. Isn't it so nice to know that there are people out ther that are concerned about you, no matter what their religion?

But they are right!!!!!!!!! You are there, no matter the reason. If it isn't for the doctrine. Then tell them its just for the social aspect, peer pressure, etc. You are the annoying one here!!!!!!! Besides, all religions say that to all who return.

Perhaps they are just hoping that you come back for the church.
It would not annoy me if I thought someone was concerned for my soul.
I am not Mormon but that is how I would react.
