Ok, I think this is so gay!

My friend is 13.
He obsessively watches Avatar The last Airbender. (He is 13)
Last night he said these exact words, "Im watching Avatar it is such a great epi!"
epi-not episode
Anyways he also talks like a girl....
He is always griping like a girl

So,
last night I said.... Everett... (thats his name)
are you gay?
He said no.
But we got in this huge argument because i said that boys our age dont watch Avatar and talk about wut a great epi it is.

So0o0
Im just curious...
do i have a point?
or do 13 year old boys really act like that?

What do you usually have to eat at your Thanksgiving Day table? I am just wondering what other people have..(including dessert) We have:

turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, gravy, scalloped corn, Harvard beets(my grandmother's recipe), turnip, butternut squash, green beans ( NOT the casserole!!!!!), homemade applesauce, cranberry sauce, various homemade pickles and homemade rolls.

For dessert, we have: Cranberry orange bread, date nut bread, Pumpkin pie, apple pie, mince pie, and our traditional Butternut Cake (my great-great grandfathers recipe) All desserts are also homemade.

One last thing: As you sit down to your meal...think about this...What are you most thankful for?

who, in your opinion are the lukewarm?

It fascinates me to read the Q & A in the R & S section of this site. I see all manner of religious beliefs displayed and explained here.
Religion, regardless of it's details is vital for human existence. I think that it doesn't matter what your religion is, but it's important to life to have the ability and desire to believe in SOMETHING. People must have hope. Without that, there is nothing.
My question is: if you are on this site to shout that yours is the only "right" religion, or if you are on here to shout that "there is no God", what is your purpose? What will you gain by doing this?

This day just keeps getting worse. Mom just called and said one of my good friends from high school passed and his funeral is tomorrow. I was not welcome at my reunion because of my "gayness" which is fine. I didn't leave anything behind when i left that small town, but I want to morn the loss of my friend. I will not show up at the funeral as this is not about me and i would not want to make anyone uncomfortable. I just want to smile through the tears. Someone please make me giggle. I know you can.

if the great flying spaghetti is somehow supernatural, its the best excuse not to be asked to proof it.

the genesis story - which many here believe literally true - states that day and night existed before the creation of the Sun.

this can be true only for a flat earth.

do all christians believe the earth is flat? or just the most devout ones?

ATLANTA - More than 1 million cases of chlamydia were reported in the United States last year — the most ever reported for a sexually transmitted disease, federal health officials said Tuesday.
"A new U.S. record," said Dr. John M. Douglas Jr. of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More bad news: Gonorrhea rates are jumping again after hitting a record low, and an increasing number of cases are caused by a "superbug" version resistant to common antibiotics, federal officials said Tuesday.

Syphilis is rising, too. The rate of congenital syphilis — which can deform or kill babies — rose for the first time in 15 years.
"Hopefully we will not see this turn into a trend," said Dr. Khalil Ghanem, an infectious diseases specialist at Johns Hopkins University's School of medicine.

THIS is one of today's headlines. My Question:

Is this what happens when the "Atheist View" comes into effect? OR could this be a "Christian" thing?

Christians, this isn't a personal attack, or an attempt to get under your skin, but can someone truly justify this for me?

Imagine you're being threatened with torture- a terrible, gruesome death, and it can all be avoided if you admit belief in.. say.. the tooth fairy.

How is this 'righteous' in any way? Is this actually how God works?

In Islam, there are passionate children ready to give their lives for Allah, where Mohammad is the central figure - greater than Jesus.

In Christendom, there are children "preachers" who stand before congregations preaching Jesus.

How is this acceptable? Children do not have the faculty to embrace any cause with such passion, nor do they have the intelligence to make an informed decision that comes from a blank-slate approach to objective criticism.

These children are completely and unequivocally deluded.

This is not a "relationship" with a creator. It is a relationship with a psychosis. This is proven to me, as I bring forth the evidence against a historical Jesus and the corrupt manuscript tradition of the Bible to Christians and they merely parrot the same old, tired, apologist spill.

Truth becomes irrelevant to someone who is brainwashed.

Any promise. God cannot break a promise so the ones offered are things we all can stand in faith and confidence that they apply to our lives as well.
