there was a singer named Ella fitzgerald who could shatter glasses while singing high notes. the glass however was placed next to a speaker and her voice was amplified. I saw it in a documentry called the Mysteries of the sphinx.

yes they did it on mythbusters... remember that its all about frecuencies.. if there is a vioce that can get to that frecuency it will shatter it
