Ok, I think this is so gay!
My friend is 13.
He obsessively watches Avatar The last Airbender. (He is 13)
Last night he said these exact words, "Im watching Avatar it is such a great epi!"
epi-not episode
Anyways he also talks like a girl....
He is always griping like a girl
So,
last night I said.... Everett... (thats his name)
are you gay?
He said no.
But we got in this huge argument because i said that boys our age dont watch Avatar and talk about wut a great epi it is.
So0o0
Im just curious...
do i have a point?
or do 13 year old boys really act like that?

OK - a guy is 13 so he may just like Avatar and may just say epi because others say it that way and it is supposed to be "in" to abbreviate everything like in text messaging. So - if he says he is not gay, he is not and if he is but is not ready to say yes, then what does it matter anyway. He has a right to be who he is and to tell you that only when he is ready. Because you suspect so strongly, he just may be gay and not ready to tell. So just be his friend and don't pay attention or point out these things to him or to anyone else.

Well, that's a tough one.
I have a 12 year old brother and a cousin that's the same age. And they can say and do some pretty gay things sometimes. Still they're growing up, and I don't think that they realize the things they say or do can seem a little feminine.
I wouldn't go right out and say that he's gay, but he could be bi-curious. You still never know. He still has a lot of time to realize (if he is straight) that his behavior has made people question his sexuality. Just be his friend and go about your usual ways. If one day he realizes he's gay, he'll tell you if you seem like an open-minded caring person.

whOA!
you think your friend is gay because he watches avatar?
I'm 18 and I still watch stuff like that you know.
You guys are young, you should be enjoying your youth, don't confront him about he's sexuality, if he's gay or not it's up to him to come out, If you really are his friend, you just have to support him of what he likes. And if your friend talks a lot about avatar stuff, then he's not gay, he's just a 13 year old with a mind of a younger age or you can call your friend a bit nerdy.

Hahahaha.....this is a pretty funny question. No that doesnt make him gay. And I wouldnt be pretty mad if I was asked that question because of a hobby I enjoy. You cant judge him by the stuff he enjoys. He's 13. There are grown men today that still like comics and television. I personally think you should apologize. Even if he was gay, its probably none of your business.

How old are you.I'm 35 years old and still some of my friends and colleges abbreviate and shorten words.
As for talking like a girl do you mean sound wise as his voice might still have to break?
At 13 he is still very young and will not understand that his actions or what he says can get translated into different meanings by different people.
I still think that he's growing up so give him chance.

he might just be really camp.
I have guys like that in my school.
Act camp - as.
But are straight.
I think that you should just let it be.
Imagine, for a moment, that he isnt gay.
And yet all these people ask him and pester him about it.
I'd say leave it.
Just be the person who he can come to, when everyone has a go at him for "being gay."
Regardless of whether he actually is or not.
If he is, he'll trust you enough to tell you.
but remember, this is his secret.
And not everyone is as accepting as you.

It's not your place to out him. AND you can't just assume that someone talks a little differently or watches a show that it means they're gay. You have a lot of learning to do little girl. Leave him alone.

He probably just needs to get out more. GET HIM OUT OF THE HOUSE. Anyway, if he says he isn't gay then believe him. One of my friends lost a friend because she kept asking this guy if he was gay and he got really pissed off. Maybe hes just going through a phrase...and its not really normal with most guys

maybe he just likes the epi, give him a break. If he is gay and he's your friend he would probably tell you..unless he thought you were homophobic or something.

He may well be gay BUUUUT there are boys i know that are like that and are straight.. he could be metrosexual (striaght just very very camp lol)
If he is gay, asking him like that probably won't make him confess to it. It will probably take time for him to tell you (if he wants to)
Hope this helps babe :) x
