There's an interesting story in the news... pentecostal scientologists in Tampa, Florida. They use the bible AND the writings of L. Ron Hubbard.

What do you think of this?

powerful God would destroy mankind with a flood then later grant the so called "freewill" again so they could repeat their evil ways? What all powerful God would sit back and watch his so called "chosen" people be slaughtered by the Millions by a Christian Monster? Why can your all powerful God not do something important like putting and end to wars that cause so much innocent death, violence and destruction? Why can your God not cure the sicknesses and deseases that cause so many to live and die in such pain and agony? Why does he let millions of babies and children die of starvation and hunger? With all this, you are expected to worship? Do your indoctrinated beliefs override your ability to be rational when these things are staring you in the face? Words and rhetorical sermons will convince many apparently but the truth is still there.

Here are some verses that I found:
As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” Psalm 16:3

But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’ Daniel 7:18

But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. Romans 15:25

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 1 Corinthians 1:2

for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,Ephesians 4:12

Sound to me like the saints are those that follow Christ on earth and in heaven. I would not want anyone to pray to me. Christians should not pray to other believers in God. We should pray to God only.

Protestants and Evangelicals believe Mary had children after Jesus Christ was born and their names are given in the Gospels. Catholics say those names are near kinsmen, perhaps cousins. I have heard some Catholics say Mary was virginal unto death.
What is your answer?

I can agree that they are right.
But now I ask is it a sin that we have also ruined gods land?
We used the trees for our own purposes.
We run the wild animals off.
We burn rubbish.

Tainted the waters.

decide to take me home soon which I hope he does, then could you pray that the death would be as painless as possible. I am so looking forward to going home. whether alive for the rapture or in death. Becasue if my cancer has returned I am going home this time. God kept me here until I was ready. Now I am almost ready and I feel it is almost my time. I am not saying I am going home in 5 minutes, although that would be great, but I feel in my spirit my time here is almost up. Please pray for me that I will have the strengh to endure to the end.Thank you brothers and sisters in Christ.

I'm a Christian, but I used to attend a school where they said that if you didn't speak in tongues you weren't saved. I asked the students, the teacher and the principle where in the Bible this was actually said and they couldn't give me even one verse.

I thought this was exclusive to this school (I haven't ever heard this before or since, and the institution was shut down shortly after I left) but then I saw a few answers on here that reflect what was said there.

Could someone map out this doctrine for me?
