I can agree that they are right.
But now I ask is it a sin that we have also ruined gods land?
We used the trees for our own purposes.
We run the wild animals off.
We burn rubbish.
Ruined the o zone.
Tainted the waters.

Going against nature is against my religion.

But we have not done nearly as much bad as you are lead to believe. Try taking a trip to an area that is not so populated, you will see that nature is still very much thriving. The world has vast amounts of land that is not inhabited by people. Try going to South Dakota......nothing there at all.

P.S. I enjoy smoking a nice pipe full of tobacco. Vanilla flavored Black Cavendish is great. (Black cavendish is the strong smelling tobacco used in Black and Mild cigars)

The Bible is clear, the only sin against the temple of the Holy Spirit is sexual sin.

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

As to your current question, mankind is called to be wise stewards over the earth which God has given us dominion. God has given us trees and animals and land to use, but not to abuse.

You know Linda Im a smoker, And I love It, I love to smoke, So Im the wrong person to comment , But I will any way , I respect religion and temples and make and Buddha and Allah and cows and rats and scrolls and all of that..., But I don't care for It, Because As was said (only the dead know If there Is a heaven Or hell), Or Buddha or Allah, or god... Ext.., But Im not dead, So I don't know, And as you side, It's all F!*&#@ Know any way, And I know I didn't do It, And I hope you didn't either ,.So If it turns out that there is one of those (Allah, god, Buddha, cow , rat...), Me smoking should be the lest of his problems, You know, So all In all, Forget It, You want smoke then smoke, And Remember you can pray and protect your temple all you want, But There Is a chance That you where praying to the wrong one, After all there Is about 5 or 6 god's or religions that are Big, So smoke when you want , play when you want, So If It turners out that you where praying to the wrong GOD, YOu can say, AT lest I lived when I was alive. I hope this makes since to you.

My only answer to this would be there is no one sin greater than the other. Our body's are temples. So this is a question you should ask yourself because on here your going to get so many different answers. If it feels wrong to you then don't smoke but if it feels okay than do it. Life is about choices and we all have a choice.

I am not worried one bit about what is happening to this world,, You may ask why, Because in the Milliennium God will slowly be bringing this earth back into a perfect relationship with him so that at the end of the 1000 yrs. Once again this earth will have a perfect climate, This 1000 yrs. is God's time to clean this earth up.

I totally agree with you.

I don't believe smoking is a sin, unless the person has been told by God to quit, and they haven't even tried.

Yes it is a sin because your damaging your Body and it say's in the Bible too keep your Body Clean.
And too your other Question, it is and it's not.
We use Trees for fire (that's good) but also Tree's for other stuff we don't need (that's bad) It all depends if we use it for good stuff
(too survive maybe) or if we use it for thing's we don't need.

i hope i answerd your Question =)
