Rational thinking, independent thoughts and being a freethinker are a threat to religion which is why they discourage it amongst its followers and teach them that those who express it are evil and under the influence of the devil. That is why religion prefers people to just be blind sheep; it is much easier to control people who do not have these traits and convince them to believe in anything you tell them by stating god did it or gods will.

The flood should prove to you that if you fail to believe and continue to turn God away like those people did that he is capable of ending it right now, He is capable of that but this time he has promised that it will not be by a flood but by fire. Let's see how many will doubt him this time. Yes he is all loving and that's why he takes some of the innocent women and children, so they don't have to spend their life in Hell on earth. Children under the age of understanding and the mentally challenged are immediatly brought into the presents of God then they are healed and taught correctly. Man pretty much takes care of the brutal killings and murder of the innocent by themselves because of greed and awe of the all mighty dollar. If we weren't so money hungry and didn't steal from the poor and weak there would be enough for everybody. When was the last time you went hungry so you could feed a starving family? If God wanted to he could cure the sicknesses and man made diseases. If he came down here and made everything perfect for everybody then there would be no need for faith and heaven. Evil people and good people would all share the same place and that can't be heaven. If you choose not to believe then that's OK, but if you decide to have faith and believe in God then you will be eternally rewarded. Wars are man made choices and not Gods. God could stop them if he wanted to but again he is proving mans ignorance and yet there are still those who don't believe and Thats too bad and so sad. GOD BLESS!!

Those question had been asked by people thousands years ago. They just did not understand life. They expected a giant hand to come down from the skies and help!
This is not what really happens. According to my beliefs, God works on earth through co incidents and through luck and nature and even people.
You would ask why then those poor people are not saved. I say, some of them are saved. Some of them are to be saved. Some of them might not be saved. God, in his wise design, had created this universe with all its ambiguities, and rules that are behind our scenes. Most of the times we are blind to what is really going on around, no wonder we don't understand how the universe is managed.
It is hard to understand ourselves, and some people spend their whole lives trying to do so. What if we're trying to understand the world? we can not reach a full understanding of it.
Freud had said once 'Just as no one can be forced into belief, so no one can be forced into unbelief.' If you can not prove that there is God, in the same way, you can not prove that there is no God!

God wants sincere followers of Him, not robots. He knows everything, so, even if we had no free will, He would know what we would do if we were given a time to dissobey Him.
By the 'millions slaughtered by a Christian monster,' if you're talking about Hitler, he often criticised Christianity and only used it as a means of getting support. He killed hundreds the of Christians who were hiding the genocide-threatened Jews.
And further on that, Satan doesn't know when Jesus will return so it's logical to assume that he would set up a new antiChrist for each generation. Hitler's was that year's model and he did all his wickedness of his own accord.
And yes, was made to stop Hitler in the end, I believe by God's intervention.
With every person alive, just their thoughts of wanting to do one sin ("I want to kill that guy so bad," "If only I could steal that car," ect), if we put that into action each of us would be as bad as if even worse than any other murderer or theif out there. God sees this as very real, much more than we usually consider.
We deserve much worse than we get.
Either way, how unwise would it be to not worship a God so powerful, wouldn't you think?

Christians, is it not obvious to you that all the stories of your God are mere fabrications of man?
No, not when I fairly consider the evidence to the contrary.

Hi
fristly some christians are not true christians i know it by fact
because they say they love God and not christ and they stand on the pulpit and give a sermon but are not anotied or are in eror second the reasons why his chosen people are slaughtered is because they worship idoles and other gods in the past and there children suffer if you look at judges God kept answering there cry but they kept sining and in time God got fedup + God gives everyone freewill but people misues freewill. you are either a athist or a pagen or something else,
but God does this becaues there is a place where there is no sufering and pain where there is hope it's called heaven and people who belive in Christ go there. God sent his only begoten son down from heaven to die for us so that people who belive in him will not die but go to heaven and live, God did this in the name of love he gave man freewill to chose life or death and the people who choes death kill and slaugter others and cause pian and suffering. if you want to know more of what Christ did for us look at the pasion of the Christ movie or you can email me

There is a god. There is a devil. God gave the earth to lucifer. The earth is our prison. We are condemned. It is our job to see if we can rise above it so we can move on . Maybe to something better perhaps. I have thought of this alot lately because I am ill. Anyway, that's what it seams is happening. I know one thing... What you do in life, the choices you make ,not only affect you but they affect others around you too. Give that helping hand to a friend. You never know how important it may have been to them. I;m not saying everybody be a saint. I've had friends tell me how important it was to them when I helped them. It surprised me and I realized how it affected they're lives. Its only what we do that counts. Do it well.

That is like saying, 'from my perspective, the world looks flat, so it is flat', when, in fact it is round. When you have all the answers of this world and the spiritual world, then you have the right to make these assumptions.

God is all-knowing. He knows everything that's going to happen far long before it actually does. So, yes, He knew what the world would be like today before He created it. So why would He create man when He knew man would sin against Him and also when He knew how terrible this world would turn out to be? He created man so He would have someone to praise and worship Him because he knows He is worthy of it, and He is. And if He had not given man free will, yes, this world would be perfect because it would be full of people being controlled by God, but why would an Almighty God want robots to worship Him? And that, sir, is why this world is going to shi**, because there are so many people who do not believe and refuse to believe because they have free will.

Let us lay the blame where it belongs.... Even satan is not responsible for all of the ills of man..... Man must take some responsibiltiy for the evil that he has allowed himself to become involved.....
Children are slaughtered by men - not God... Women also, by choice..... Not God......
There is a mass killing going on in other countries.... It certainly isn't God doing the killing.... it's men......
But, no, He isn't sitting back watching it all, He is waiting for a precise moment to strike at the point where the mountain of this mess exists.........
Point is, in all of these terrible atrocities, someone is calling out to God and that is who He is listening to...... and the message is clear, it is going to stop! Men do what men do, and so an end to this system of things must need be fulfilled!!

Ginger

God created humans and gave them the opportunity to follow him or not. if he comes down and tells us what to do, we become mere robots. while that would snap doubters like you in line pretty quickly, it's not what he wants. he wants personal relationship with us, and that can only be achieved by us freely choosing to follow him. the flip side of that is people may choose NOT to believe, not to follow his commandments, and thereby bring about suffering on the earth.
there are plenty of rational Christians. including people, who unlike you, are willing to concede that people who disagree with them are not necessarily stupid and irrational. if you could prove faith, it wouldn't be faith--which is why we all make choices every day what we believe. you choose no hope, I choose hope. let me know when you can definitively prove there is no god, and then we'll talk. I'll do the same if I find definitive proof for him.
